One amongst you should not enter into a transaction when another is bargaining.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَبِعْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You should not try to cancel the purchases of one another (to get a benefit thereof), and do not go ahead to meet the caravan (for buying the goods) (but wait) till it reaches the market."  

البخاري:٢١٦٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَبِيعُ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ وَلاَ تَلَقَّوُا السِّلَعَ حَتَّى يُهْبَطَ بِهَا إِلَى السُّوقِ

None amongst you should outbid another in a transaction, nor should he make proposals of marriage upon the proposal made by someone else.

abudawud:3436ʿAbdullāh b. Maslamah al-Qaʿnabī > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: None of you must buy in opposition to one another ; and do not go out to meet the merchandise, (but one must wait) till it is brought down to the market.  

أبو داود:٣٤٣٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَبِعْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ وَلاَ تَلَقَّوُا السِّلَعَ حَتَّى يُهْبَطَ بِهَا الأَسْوَاقَ  

ibnmajah:2171Sūwayd b. Saʿīd > Mālik b. Anas > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

"Let one of you not undersell another."[1]  

ابن ماجة:٢١٧١حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَبِيعُ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ  

malik:31-97Yaḥyá > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not let any of you bid against each other."

[Machine] According to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "None of you should sell based on the sale of another, nor should anyone propose marriage to someone who has already been proposed to."

الحاكم:٣٧٢٣أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَلِيمٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْمُوَجِّهِ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدَانُ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مَوْدُودٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ} [الحجرات 11] قَالَ «لَا يَطْعُنُ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح

ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمَرْءِ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَفَرَّقَ الْبَائِعُ وَالْمُشْتَرِي
