ahmad:4531 – ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ forbade receiving goods until they have reached the market, and he forbade ihtijaj (raising prices to deceive customers). He said: 'None of you should sell over the sale of his brother.' When he was in a hurry, he combined Maghrib and Isha prayers."

أحمد:٤٥٣١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ تَلَقِّي السِّلَعِ حَتَّى يُهْبَطَ بِهَا الْأَسْوَاقُ وَنَهَى عَنِ النَّجْشِ وَقَالَ لَا يَبِعْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ وَكَانَ إِذَا عَجَّلَ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

bukhari:2165 – ʿAbdullāh b. Yūsuf > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You should not try to cancel the purchases of one another (to get a benefit thereof), and do not go ahead to meet the caravan (for buying the goods) (but wait) till it reaches the market."

البخاري:٢١٦٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ

abudawud:3436 – ʿAbdullāh b. Maslamah al-Qaʿnabī > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: None of you must buy in opposition to one another ; and do not go out to meet the merchandise, (but one must wait) till it is brought down to the market.

أبو داود:٣٤٣٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَبِعْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ وَلاَ تَلَقَّوُا السِّلَعَ حَتَّى يُهْبَطَ بِهَا الأَسْوَاقَ

ahmad:5304 – ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ forbade receiving goods until they are brought down to the markets and he forbade cheating. He said, "None of you should sell his goods over the sale of another."

darimi:2609 – Khālid b. Makhlad > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

One amongst you should not enter into a transaction when another is bargaining. (Using translation from Muslim 1412e)

الدارمي:٢٦٠٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يَبِيعُ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ وَلَا تَلَقَّوْا السِّلَعَ حَتَّى يُهْبَطَ بِهَا الْأَسْوَاقَ وَلَا تَنَاجَشُوا»
