30. Transactions

٣٠۔ كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ

30.20 [Machine] The sale of a man regarding the sale of his brother.

٣٠۔٢٠ بَيْعُ الرَّجُلِ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ

nasai-kubra:6050Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Mālik And al-Layth > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not urge somebody to return what he has already bought (i.e. in optional sale) from another seller so as to sell him your own goods." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2139)   

الكبرى للنسائي:٦٠٥٠أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ وَاللَّيْثِ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَبِيعُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ»  

nasai-kubra:6051Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > Abū Muʿāwiyah > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

"Do not urge someone to cancel a sale he has already agreed upon so as to sell him your own goods, unless he bys or changes his mind." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4504)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٦٠٥١أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَبِيعُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يَبْتَاعَ أَوْ يَذَرَ»
