"Use Ithmid for it clears the vision and grows the hair (eye-lashes)."

عَنْ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْإِثْمِدِ فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘You should use antimony when you go to sleep, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.’”

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالإِثْمِدِ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ

“The best of your kohl is antimony, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَيْرُ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الإِثْمِدُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ

The Prophet ﷺ said: Wear your white garments, for they are among your best garments, and shroud your dead in them. Among the best types of collyrium you use is antimony (ithmid): it clears the vision and makes the hair sprout. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3878)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَيْرُ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الْإِثْمِدُ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ يُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ وَيَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَخَيْرُ ثِيَابِكُمِ الْبَيَاضُ فَالْبَسُوهَا وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الْإِثْمِدُ إِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ»

"خَيْرُ أَكحالكم الإِثمِد عند النوم، يُنْبتُ الشَّعْرَ ويَجْلو البصرَ".

("خَيْرُ أَكحالكم الإِثمد يُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ ويجلُو البَصَرَ".

"إِنَّ من خيرِ أَكْحالِكم الإثمدَ، إِنَّه يجلو البصرَ، وينبتُ الشَّعَر" .

"عَلَيكُمْ بالإِثْمِدِ عِنْدَ النَّوْم، فإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ، وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ".
