ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ حُكْمَ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ وَغَيْرِهِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي هَذَا الزَّجْرِ سَوَاءٌ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever buys food should not sell it until he has received it in full." He also prohibited selling it until it is moved from its place or transferred.  

ابن حبّان:٤٩٨٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الدُّولَابِيُّ مُنْذُ ثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ» قَالَ وَنَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَهُ حَتَّى يُحَوِّلَهُ مِنْ مَكَانِهِ أَوْ يَنْقُلَهُ

He who buys foodgrain should not sell that before taking possession of it. He (the narrator) said: We used to buy foodgrain from the caravans in bulk, but Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us to re-sell that until we had shifted it to some other place.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ قَالَ وَكُنَّا نَشْتَرِي الطَّعَامَ مِنَ الرُّكْبَانِ جِزَافًا فَنَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَبِيعَهُ حَتَّى نَنْقُلَهُ مِنْ مَكَانِهِ

He who bought foodgrain should not sell it until he had taken full possession of it (after measuring it).  

مسلم:١٥٢٦c – حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ وَيَقْبِضَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺsaid: “Whoever buys foodstuff should not sell it until he takes possession of all of it.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 396)  

أحمد:١٥٢١٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الصَّغَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ
