"Whoever buys food let him not sell it until he has taken possession of it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He who buys foodstuff should not sell it till he is satisfied with the measure with which he has bought it.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِيعُهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who buys foodstuff should not sell it till he has received it."
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "The buyer of foodstuff should not sell it before it has been measured for him." Ismaʿil narrated instead, "He should not sell it before receiving it."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ زَادَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ
He who buys food-rain should not sell it until he has taken possession of it. Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) said: I regard everything like food (so far as this principle is concerned).
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَحْسِبُ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الطَّعَامِ
He who buys foodgrain should not sell it until he has taken full possession of it.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ
He who bought foodgrain should not sell it until he had taken full possession of it (after measuring it).
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ وَيَقْبِضَهُ
He who bought foodgrain should not sell it until he had taken possession of it.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever buys food, let him not sell it until he has taken possession of it."'
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever buys food, let him not sell it until he has checked its weight.""
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِيعُهُ حَتَّى يَكْتَالَهُ
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever buys food let him not sell it until he takes possession of it. Ibn 'Abbas said: "I think the same applies to everything else as to food."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِيعُهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَأَحْسَبُ أَنَّ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الطَّعَامِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone buys grain, he must not sell it till receives it in full.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ
"Whoever buys food, let him not sell it until he has taken full possession of it."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Someone who buys food, must not resell it until he takes delivery of it all."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلاَ يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Someone who buys food, must not sell it until he takes possession of it."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever buys food, should not sell it until he takes possession of it." He said: "The price is known and I think he also said: or fodder."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When you buy food, do not sell it until you have received it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ابْتَعْتُمْ طَعَامًا فَلَا تَبِيعُوهُ حَتَّى تَقْبِضُوهُ
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever buys food should not sell it until he takes possession of it."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِيعُهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever buys food by weight or measure, he should not sell it until he receives it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنِ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا بِكَيْلٍ أَوْ وَزْنٍ فَلَا يَبِيعُهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ
"Whoever buys food, let him not sell it until he has taken full possession of it." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2226)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِيعُهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ

He who buys foodgrain should not sell that before taking possession of it. He (the narrator) said: We used to buy foodgrain from the caravans in bulk, but Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us to re-sell that until we had shifted it to some other place. (Using translation from Muslim 1526b)

"مَن ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ".
"مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا فَلا يَبعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ"
