The Messenger of Allah ﷺsaid: “Whoever buys foodstuff should not sell it until he takes possession of all of it.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 396)   

أحمد:٨٤٤٠حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ فِي سَنَةِ إِحْدَى وَخَمْسِينَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنِ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Someone who buys food, must not resell it until he takes delivery of it all."
