ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ خَبَرَ عَمْرَةَ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَالْأَوْزَاعِيُّ
[Machine] She said that Umm Habiba bint Jahsh performed Istihadah while she was under the authority of Abdulrahman bin Auf, her sister Zainab bint Jahsh's husband, for seven years. She complained about it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he told her, "It is not menstruation, but rather a vein. So, perform the ritual bath and pray." She used to take a bath for every prayer, and she would sit in a different corner from her sister. The blood would appear as drops on the water.
أَنَّهَا قَالَتِ اسْتُحِيضَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتُ جَحْشٍ وَهِيَ تَحْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ أُخْتُهَا زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ جَحْشٍ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ فَشَكَتْ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهَا «لَيْسَتْ بِالْحَيْضَةِ وَلَكِنَّهُ عِرْقٌ فَاغْتَسِلِي وَصَلِّي» «فَكَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ وَكَانَتْ تَقْعُدُ فِي مِرْكَنِ أُخْتِهَا فَكَانَتْ حُمْرَةُ الدَّمِ تَعْلُو الْمَاءَ»
