(The narrator Qutaibah said: This tradition has been narrated by Sa'id b. Abu Sa'id in my collection): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who does not chant the Qur'an is not one of us.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ
The Prophet ﷺ saw a man who had been put in the shade and saw a crowd of people around him (in the course of a journey). He said: Fasting while on journey is not part of righteousness.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً يُظَلَّلُ عَلَيْهِ وَالزِّحَامُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say; 'It is not righteousness to fast when traveling."'
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ
"It is not righteousness to fast when traveling. Take to the concession which Allah, the mighty and sublime, has granted you, accept it."

Reciting the Quran melodiously
People entered upon Saad b. Abu Waqqas and asked him about the Quran. Saad said, "Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "He is not one of us who does not recite the Quran melodiously.""
عَنْ نَاسٍ دَخَلُوا عَلَى سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، فَسَأَلُوهُ عَنِ الْقُرْآنِ، فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ: أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ».
