The Prophet ﷺ said about a person who had intercourse with his wife while she was menstruating: He must give one dinar or half a dinar in alms. Abu Dawud said: The correct version says si: One dinar or half a dinar. Shu'bah (a narrator) did not sometimes narrate this tradition as a statement of the Prophet ﷺ.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الَّذِي يَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ أَوْ نِصْفِ دِينَارٍ

Ibn ‘Abbas reported the Prophet (May peace be upon him) as saying; when a man has intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating, he must give half a dinar in alms. Abu Dawud said; ‘Ali b. Budhaimah reported similarly on the authority of Miqsam from the Prophet (May peace be upon him). Al-Awza’I narrated from Yazid b. Abi Malik, from ‘Abd al-Hamid b. ‘Abd al-Rahman from the Prophet (May peace be upon him); He ordered him to give two fifth of a dinar in alms. But this is a chain where two narrators (Miqsam and Ibn ‘Abbas) are missing.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الرَّجُلُ بِأَهْلِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone omits the Friday prayer without excuse, he must give a dinar in alms, or if he does not have as much, then half a dinar. Abu Dawud said: Khalid b. Qais reported this tradition in this manner, but he disagreed in respect of chain (of transmitters) and agreed in respect of the text.

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever misses jumu'ah with no excuse, let him give a dinar in charity, and if he cannot afford that, then half a dinar."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَبِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ

The Prophet said concerning one who has intercourse with a woman when she is menstruating: "Let him give a Dinar or half a Dinar in charity."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الَّذِي يَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ أَوْ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ

"If a man had intercourse with his wife while she was menstruating, the Prophet commanded him to give half a Dinar in charity."

“Whoever abandons Friday deliberately, let him give a Dinar in charity, and if he cannot afford that, then (let him give) half a Dinar.”

[AI] The judge hesitated, giving either a dinar or half a dinar as charity.

«يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ أَوْ نِصْفِ دِينَارٍ» شَكَّ الْحَكَمُ

the Prophet said about a man who had sexual intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating: "He should give half a Dinar in charity." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 136)

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي الَّذِي يَقَعُ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ «يَتَصَدَّقُ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ»

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "If a man approaches his wife while she is menstruating, and if the blood is abundant, he should give a dinar in charity. And if the blood is light, he should give half a dinar in charity."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَتَى الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَإِنْ كَانَ الدَّمُ عبيطًا فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ صُفْرَةً فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ»

[AI] "If a man has intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating, then he must give a charity of one dinar."

«إِذَا وَقَعَ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَعَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِدِينَارٍ»

[AI] About a man named Ata who had intercourse with his wife while she was menstruating, he said, "He should give a charity of one dinar."

عَنْ عَطَاءٍ فِي رَجُلٍ جَامَعَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ «يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ»

[AI] "He donates one dinar or half a dinar."

«يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ أَوْ نِصْفِ دِينَارٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the one who approaches his wife while she is menstruating to give in charity one dinar or half a dinar.

أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الَّذِي يَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِدِينَارٍ أَوْ نِصْفِ دِينَارٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Give charity with a dinar, and if you cannot find that, then give half a dinar, meaning the amount that covers the expenses of your menstruating wife."

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ regarding a situation where a woman becomes unconscious while she is menstruating, he said, "Give charity with a dinar, and if you cannot find that, then with half a dinar."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الَّذِي يَغْشَى امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ «يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَبِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ»

[AI] "A man had sexual intercourse with his wife while she was menstruating. The Prophet ﷺ ordered him to give half a dinar in charity."

«أَنَّ رَجُلًا وَقَعَ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ»

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ, it was narrated that a man came to him and claimed that he had had sexual intercourse with his wife while she was on her period. The Prophet ﷺ instructed him to give charity of one dinar, and if he couldn't find that, then half a dinar.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي رَجُلٍ غَشِي امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ قَالَ «يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ أَوْ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ»

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ, regarding a man who had intercourse with his wife while she was menstruating, he said, "If it was a dark red blood, then he should give a dinar in charity, and if it was yellowish, then half a dinar."
