"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth."

لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: What is unlawful by reason of consanguinity is unlawful by reason of fosterage.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

“Indeed Allah has made unlawful through suckling whatever He made unlawful through birth.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا حَرَّمَ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

"I heard 'Aishah say: The Messenger of Allah said: 'What becomes unlawful (for marriage) through breast-feeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ

"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth." (Using translation from Muslim 1444b)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَرِّمُوا مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا تُحَرِّمُونَ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Sulayman ibn Yasar and from Urwa ibn az-Zubayr from A'isha umm al- muminin, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, " What is haram by birth is haram by suckling."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1937)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ»

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1937)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ he said: 'What is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by breastfeeding.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'What is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by breastfeeding.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1937)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

[AI] "On the authority of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , he said: 'Do not forbid breastfeeding by suckling once or twice.'"

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَلَا الْمَصَّتَانِ»

"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth." (Using translation from Muslim 1444b)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What is prohibited by breastfeeding is based on what causes satiation and complete fulfillment, not on the number of feedings."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ إِنَّمَا يُحَرِّمُ مَا فَتَقَ مِنَ اللَّبَنِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The suckling does not make anything prohibited except what the intestines have already milked out."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنْهُ إِلَّا مَا فَتَقَ الْأَمْعَاءَ مِنَ اللَّبَنِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The act of suckling does not make prohibited what is forbidden by genealogy. It is only forbidden what is prohibited by the presence of milk (in the breast)."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ الْمَصَّةُ وَلَا الْمَصَّتَانِ إِنَّمَا يُحَرِّمُ مَا فَتَقَ اللَّبَنُ»

ؓ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: What is unlawful by reason of consanguinity is unlawful by reason of fosterage. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2055)

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ

"أَمَا علمتَ أن اللهَ تعالى حرَّمَ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَة مثلَ ما حرَّمَ من النَّسَب؟ ".

"What becomes unlawful (for marriage) through breast-feeding is that which becomes unlawful through lineage." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3302)

"إِنَّ الله ﷻ حرَّم مِن الرضاع مَا حَرَّمَ مِن النَّسَبِ".

"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth." (Using translation from Muslim 1444b)

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى حَرَّمَ مِنَ الرضاعةِ ما حَرَّم من الولَادَة".
