6. Two ʿĪd (Eid) Ṣalāhs (4/4)
٦۔ كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ ص ٤
[Machine] About the phrase "Allahu Akbar" during the days of Tashreeq, it is reported that Al-Hasan said, "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest." 6281. And it was narrated from 'Ata ibn Abi Rabah that he said, "Allah magnifies three times."
عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي التَّكْبِيرِ أَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ 6281 وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يُكَبِّرُ اللهَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ
[Machine] Salman teaches us the takbeer, saying "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, kabiran aw qala takbiran. Allahumma anta a'la wa ajallu min an takuna laka sahibatan aw yakuna laka waladun aw yakuna laka shareekun fil mulk aw yakuna laka waliyyun min alzulli. Wa kabberhu takbeeran. Allahumma ighfir lana, Allahumma rahimna." Then he said, "By Allah, you should write these down, do not leave these two, and they should be a means of intercession for you." And we heard from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "The days of tashreeq are days of eating, drinking, and remembrance of Allah." And he ﷺ performed takbeer on the Safa (hill) while traveling. And we heard from Ibn 'Umar and Anas ibn Malik about their takbeer on the Day of 'Arafah during the early morning from Mina to 'Arafah while they were traveling. And we heard from Um 'Atiyyah about women coming out during menstruation on the day of Eid, standing behind the people, and they would make takbeer with the people. And Maymuna would make takbeer on the Day of Sacrifice, and women would make takbeer after Aban ibn 'Uthman and 'Umar ibn 'Abdul 'Aziz during the nights of tashreeq in the mosque. Ash-Sha'abi and Ibrahim an-Nakha'i would say this statement, and Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn 'Ali would make takbeer in Mina during the days of tashreeq, following the voluntary prayers.
سَلْمَانُ ؓ يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّكْبِيرُ يَقُولُ كَبِّرُوا اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا أَوْ قَالَ تَكْبِيرًا اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ أَعْلَى وَأَجَلُّ مِنْ أَنْ تَكُونَ لَكَ صَاحِبَةٌ أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ وَلَدٌ أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَنَا اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ وَاللهِ لَتَكْتُبُنَّ هَذِهِ لَا تَتْرُكُ هَاتَانِ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ شَفْعًا لِهَاتَيْنِ وَرُوِّينَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَيَّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ وَذِكْرِ اللهِ وَأَنَّهُ ﷺ كَبَّرَ عَلَى الصَّفَا وَكَانَ مُسَافِرًا وَرُوِّينَا عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ فِي تَكْبِيرِهِمْ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ عِنْدَ الْغُدُوِّ مِنْ مِنًى إِلَى عَرَفَةَ وَكَانُوا مُسَافِرِينَ وَعَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ فِي الْحُيَّضِ يَخْرُجْنَ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ فَيَكُنَّ خَلْفَ النَّاسِ يُكَبِّرْنَ مَعَ النَّاسِ وَكَانَتْ مَيْمُونَةُ ؓ تُكَبِّرُ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ وَكَانَ النِّسَاءُ يُكَبِّرْنَ خَلْفَ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ وَعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ لَيَالِيَ التَّشْرِيقِ مَعَ الرِّجَالِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَكَانَ الشَّعْبِيُّ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ النَّخَعِيُّ يَقُولَانِ هَذَا الْقَوْلَ وَكَانَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ يُكَبِّرُ بِمِنًى أَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ خَلْفَ النَّوَافِلِ
6.40 [Machine] Sunnah of Takbeer for Men and Women, Residents and Travelers, Those who Pray Sunnah Alone and in Congregation, and Those who Pray Nafl Prayers, In accordance with the saying of Allah, Exalted be His Praise: "And remember Allah during [specific] numbered days." [Al-Baqarah: 203], It is a general command and not specific to a certain group. And He said: "So when you have finished your rites, remember Allah like your [previous] remembrance of your fathers or with [much] greater remembrance." [Al-Baqarah: 200]
٦۔٤٠ بَابُ سُنَّةِ التَّكْبِيرِ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ وَالْمُقِيمِينَ وَالْمُسَافِرِينَ وَالَّذِي يُصَلِّي سُنَّةً مُنْفَرِدًا وَفِي جَمَاعَةٍ وَيُصَلِّي نَافِلَةً لِقَوْلِ اللهِ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُهُ {وَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْدُودَاتٍ} [البقرة: 203] فَعَمَّ وَلَمْ يَخُصَّ وَقَالَ: {فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمْ مَنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُوا -[442]- اللهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا} [البقرة: 200]
6.41 [Machine] The witnesses testify to seeing the crescent at the end of the day, they break their fast and then they go out to celebrate their holiday tomorrow.
٦۔٤١ بَابُ الشُّهُودِ يَشْهَدُونَ عَلَى رُؤْيَةِ الْهِلَالِ آخِرَ النَّهَارِ أَفْطَرُوا ثُمَّ خَرَجُوا إِلَى عِيدِهِمْ مِنَ الْغَدِ
[Machine] I was informed by a close relative of mine from the Ansar, who was a companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , that the sighting of the Shawwal crescent was obscured from us, so we began fasting. Then, a group arrived at the end of the day and testified before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that they had seen the crescent the previous day. He commanded them to break their fast and to go out for their Eid the next day. This is an authentic narration and it has a similar meaning.
حَدَّثَنِي عُمُومَةٌ لِي مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْنَا هِلَالُ شَوَّالٍ فَأَصْبَحْنَا صِيَامًا فَجَاءَ رَكْبٌ مِنْ آخِرِ النَّهَارِ فَشَهِدُوا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُمْ رَأَوَا الْهِلَالَ بِالْأَمْسِ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا مَنْ يَوْمِهِمْ وَأَنْ يَخْرُجُوا لِعِيدِهِمْ مِنَ الْغَدِ هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ وَبِمَعْنَاهُ
[Machine] "And they would go out for their celebration from tomorrow."
وَأَنْ يَخْرُجُوا لِعِيدِهِمْ مِنَ الْغَدِ
6.42 [Machine] The people make mistakes in identifying the crescent moon.
٦۔٤٢ بَابُ الْقَوْمِ يُخْطِئُونَ الْهِلَالَ
The Prophet ﷺ said: The end of Ramadan is on the day when you end it, and the 'Id (festival) of sacrifice is on the day when you sacrifice. The whole of Arafah is the place of staying, and the whole of Mina is the place of sacrifice, and all the roads of Mecca are the place of sacrifice, and the whole of Muzdalifah is the place of staying. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2324)
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِيهِ قَالَ وَفِطْرُكُمْ يَوْمَ تُفْطِرُونَ وَأَضْحَاكُمْ يَوْمَ تُضَحُّونَ وَكُلُّ عَرَفَةَ مَوْقِفٌ وَكُلُّ مِنًى مَنْحَرٌ وَكُلُّ فِجَاجِ مَكَّةَ مَنْحَرٌ وَكُلُّ جَمْعٍ مَوْقِفٌ
6.43 [Machine] The meeting of Eid on the day of Eid coinciding with Friday.
٦۔٤٣ بَابُ اجْتِمَاعِ الْعِيدَيْنِ بِأَنْ يُوَافِقَ يَوْمُ الْعِيدِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ
[Machine] I witnessed Muawiyah asking Zaid ibn Arqam, "Did you witness two Eids being performed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in one day?" He replied, "Yes." Muawiyah asked, "How did he do it?" He said, "He offered the Eid prayer, then he gave permission for the Friday prayer saying, 'Whoever wishes to offer the prayer may do so.'" In another narration by Ubaidullah, I heard Muawiyah saying, "In one day." The rest is the same.
شَهِدْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَسْأَلُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ أَشَهِدْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عِيدَيْنِ اجْتَمَعَا فِي يَوْمٍ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ كَيْفَ صَنَعَ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى الْعِيدَ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَلْيُصَلِّ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَقَالَ فِي يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ وَالْبَاقِي سَوَاءٌ
[Machine] A group of companions gathered during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , and he said: "Verily, your Eid has coincided with Friday, and indeed we are gathering together. So whoever wishes to gather, then let him gather." After he performed the Eid prayer, he gathered them.
اجْتَمَعَ عِيدَانِ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ قَدْ اجْتَمَعَ عِيدُكُمْ هَذَا وَالْجُمُعَةُ وَإِنَّا مُجَمِّعُونَ فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُجَمِّعَ فَلْيُجَمِّعْ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى الْعِيدَ جَمَّعَ
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Two Eids have coincided on this day, so whoever wishes can consider it as a substitute for Jumu'ah (Friday prayer), and indeed, we are all gathered here."
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَدْ اجْتَمَعَ فِي يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا عِيدَانِ فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَجْزَأَهُ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَإِنَّا مُجَمِّعُونَ
[Machine] A group of companions gathered during the time of the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , on Friday and on the day of Eid. They prayed and then he stood up and delivered a sermon to the people. He said, "You have received good advice and guidance, and we are all gathered here. Whoever wishes to sit may sit, and whoever wishes to gather may gather." It is narrated by Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah from 'Abdul-'Aziz in a connected and restricted manner from the people of Al-Awali, and there is weakness in its chain of narrators. It is also narrated by 'Umar ibn 'Abdul-'Aziz from the Prophet, ﷺ , in a connected and restricted manner from the people of Al-Aaliyah except that its chain of narrators is broken.
اجْتَمَعَ عِيدَانِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمُ جُمُعَةِ وَيَوْمُ عِيدٍ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ قَامَ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ قَدْ أَصَبْتُمْ ذِكْرًا وَخَيْرًا وَإِنَّا مُجَمِّعُونَ فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ فَلْيَجْلِسْ وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُجَمِّعَ فَلْيُجَمِّعْ وَيُرْوَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ مَوْصُولًا مُقَيَّدًا بِأَهْلِ الْعَوَالِي وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ ضَعْفٌ وَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مُقَيَّدًا بِأَهْلِ الْعَالِيَةِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ مُنْقَطِعٌ
[Machine] A group gathered during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , and he said, "Whoever wants to sit among the people of high status, let them do so without any hesitation." This was narrated with a authentic chain of narration from Uthman ibn Affan, limited to the people of high status and attributed to him.
اجْتَمَعَ عِيدَانِ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعَالِيَةِ فَلْيَجْلِسْ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَرَجٍ وَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ؓ مُقَيَّدًا بِأَهْلِ الْعَالِيَةِ مَوْقُوفًا عَلَيْهِ
(in continuation of above). Then I witnessed the ʿId with ʿUthman bin ʿAffan, and that was on a Friday. He offered the prayer before the sermon, saying, "O people! Today you have two 'Its (festivals) together, so whoever of those who live at Al-ʿAwali (suburbs) would like to wait for the Jumua prayer, he may wait, and whoever would like to return (home) Is granted my permission to do so." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5572)
إِنَّهُ قَدْ اجْتَمَعَ لَكُمْ فِي يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا عِيدَانِ فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعَالِيَةِ أَنْ يَنْتَظِرَ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَنْتَظِرْهَا مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فَلْيَرْجِعْ فَقَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَهُ
[Machine] He witnessed the Eid day with Umar, and he prayed before the sermon. Then he spoke and said, "O people, indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade you from fasting on these two Eids. As for one of them, it is the day of your breaking the fast, and as for the other, it is the day on which you offer your sacrifices." Abu Ubaid said, "Then I witnessed it with Uthman bin Affan on Friday. He prayed before the sermon and then spoke to the people, saying, 'O people, today is a day in which you have two Eids. Whoever wishes to wait for Friday from the people of Al-Awali, let him wait, and whoever wishes to leave, then let him leave for I have permitted him.'" Abu Ubaid said, "Then I witnessed it with Ali ibn Abi Talib. He prayed before the sermon, and then he addressed the people and said, 'Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade you from eating the flesh of your sacrifices for more than three days.'" And Ma'mar narrated similar to this from Az-Zuhri, from Abu Ubaid.
أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ الْعِيدَ يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى مَعَ عُمَرَ فَصَلَّى قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ نَهَاكُمْ عَنْ صِيَامِ هَذَيْنِ الْعِيدَيْنِ أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَيَوْمُ فِطْرِكُمْ مِنْ صِيَامِكُمْ وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَيَوْمٌ تَأْكُلُونَ فِيهِ مِنْ نُسُكِكُمْ 6292 قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُ مَعَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ؓ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَصَلَّى قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ قَدِ اجْتَمَعَ لَكُمْ فِيهِ عِيدَانِ فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْتَظِرَ الْجُمُعَةَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعَوَالِي فَلْيَنْتَظِرْ وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فَلْيَرْجِعْ فَقَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَهُ 6292 قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُهُ مَعَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ فَصَلَّى قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا لُحُومَ نُسُكِكُمْ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ نَحْوَهُ
6.44 Worship During the Night of the Two ʿĪds
٦۔٤٤ بَابُ عِبَادَةِ لَيْلَةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ
whoever stands during the two nights of ʿĪd ˹for night Ṣalāh˺ in repentance for the sake of Allah, his heart will not die when the hearts die (i.e. out of the fear of the Day of Judgement ).
Shāfiʿī said that it reached us that it has been said that the duʿāʾ (supplication) is answered during five nights: (1) the night of Friday, (2) the night ˹of the ʿĪd˺ of Aḍḥá, (3) the night ˹of the ʿĪd˺ of Fiṭr, (4) the first night of ˹the month of˺ Rajab, and (5) the night of the middle of ˹the month of˺ Shaʿbān. He also said that it has reached us that Ibn ʿUmar used to make the night of Jamʿ alive ˹with night Ṣalāh˺ where the night of Jamʿ is the night of ʿĪd because its morning is of sacrifice.
مَنْ قَامَ لَيْلَتَيِ الْعِيدِ لِلَّهِ مُحْتَسِبًا فَلَمْ يَمُتْ قَلْبُهُ حِينَ تَمُوتَ الْقُلُوبُ
قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَبَلَغَنَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُقَالُ إِنَّ الدُّعَاءَ يُسْتَجَابُ فِي خَمْسِ لَيَالٍ: (١) فِي لَيْلَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ، (٢) وَلَيْلَةِ الْأَضْحَى، (٣) وَلَيْلَةِ الْفِطْرِ، (٤) وَأَوَّلِ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ رَجَبٍ، (٥) وَلَيْلَةِ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ۔ قَالَ وَبَلَغَنَا أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُحْيِي لَيْلَةَ جَمْعٍ وَلَيْلَةُ جَمْعٍ هِيَ لَيْلَةُ الْعِيدِ؛ لِأَنَّ فِي صُبْحِهَا النَّحْرُ
6.45 [Machine] What people say to each other on the day of Eid: May Allah accept from us and from you.
٦۔٤٥ بَابُ مَا رُوِيَ فِي قَوْلِ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ: تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكَ
[Machine] On the day of Eid, I met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "May Allah accept from us and from you." He replied, "Yes, may Allah accept from us and from you."
وَاثِلَةُ لَقِيتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَقُلْتُ تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكَ
[Machine] I met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of Eid and I said, "May Allah accept (the good deeds) from us and from you." He replied, "Yes, may Allah accept (the good deeds) from us and from you." Abu Saad Al-Malini narrated to us that Abu Ahmad ibn Adi Al-Hafiz said, "This hadith is rejected. I do not know anyone who narrates it from anyone other than Muhammad ibn Ibrahim." The Sheikh (may Allah have mercy on him) said, "I have seen it with another chain of narration, attributed to someone other than Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, as a statement from the remaining companions (of the Prophet), but not as a statement directly attributed to him." I do not consider it as preserved (authentic).
لَقِيتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَقُلْتُ تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ هَذَا مُنْكَرٌ لَا أَعْلَمُ يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ بَقِيَّةَ غَيْرُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ هَذَا قَالَ الشَّيْخُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ قَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ بِإِسْنَادٍ آخَرَ عَنْ بَقِيَّةَ مَوْقُوفًا غَيْرَ مَرْفُوعٍ وَلَا أَرَاهُ مَحْفُوظًا
[Machine] We used to say to Umar ibn Abdul Aziz on both Eid days, "May Allah accept from us and from you, O Amir al-Mu'minin (Commander of the Believers)." He would reply to us and not deny it to us, and a raised hadith has been narrated about the disapproval of that and it is not valid.
كُنَّا نَقُولُ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْنَا وَلَا يُنْكِرُ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْنَا وَقَدْ رُوِيَ حَدِيثٌ مَرْفُوعٌ فِي كَرَاهِيَةِ ذَلِكَ وَلَا يَصِحُّ
[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about what people say on the two Eids, "May Allah accept (good deeds) from us and from you." He said, "That is the practice of the people of the two Scriptures (Jews and Christians), and it is disliked by Abdul-Khaliq bin Zaid, the denier of hadith." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari)
سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَوْلِ النَّاسِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكُمْ قَالَ ذَلِكَ فِعْلُ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابَيْنِ وَكَرِهَهُ عَبْدُ الْخَالِقِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ قَالَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ
