6. Two ʿĪd (Eid) Ṣalāhs
٦۔ كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ
[Machine] A man asked Ali about washing. He said, "Wash every day if you want." He replied, "No, the washing that is the washing is on the day of Friday, the day of Arafah, the day of sacrifice, and the day of Eid."
سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلِيًّا ؓ عَنِ الْغُسْلِ قَالَ اغْتَسِلْ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ إِنْ شِئْتَ فَقَالَ لَا الْغُسْلُ الَّذِي هُوَ الْغُسْلُ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَيَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ وَيَوْمَ النَّحْرِ وَيَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ
فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ الْأَضْحَى وَالْفِطْرِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ghusl (ritual washing) on the Day of Eid al-Fitr and the Day of Eid al-Adha. Abu Saad Ahmed ibn Muhammad al-Malini informed us, Abu Ahmed ibn Adi al-Hafiz narrated to us, Abu Ya'la narrated to us, Jubarah narrated to us, Hajjaj ibn Tamim narrated to me, and Ma'moon ibn Mihran mentioned it and Abu Ahmed said that his narration is not reliable.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو سَعْدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو يَعْلَى ثنا جُبَارَةُ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَيْمُونُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ فَذَكَرَهُ وَقَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ رِوَايَتُهُ لَيْسَتْ بِمُسْتَقِيمَةٍ
