6. Two ʿĪd (Eid) Ṣalāhs
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not leave on the day of Eid until he had eaten, and he would not eat on the day of sacrifice until he had slaughtered (an animal). This is narrated in the hadith of Abu Dawud and in the narration of Abu Asim, until it returns to 6160. And Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us that Ahmad ibn Ubayd narrated to us that Abu Muslim narrated to us, meaning Ibn Ibrahim, narrated to us, that Thawab ibn Utbah al-Mahri narrated from Abdullah, and he mentioned it with its chain of narration, and its meaning except that he said until he returns to eat from his sacrifice.
[Machine] "When it was the day of Eid al-Fitr, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not go out until he had eaten something. And when it was the day of Eid al-Adha, he would not eat anything until he returned. And when he returned, he would eat from the liver of his sacrificed animal."
[Machine] That he used to go out to the mosque on the day of Eid al-Adha and not eat anything.
[Machine] Muslims used to eat on the day of Eid al-Fitr before the prayer, but they did not do so on the day of Eid al-Adha.
