[Machine] "When it was the day of Eid al-Fitr, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not go out until he had eaten something. And when it was the day of Eid al-Adha, he would not eat anything until he returned. And when he returned, he would eat from the liver of his sacrificed animal."  

البيهقي:٦١٦١أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْفِطْرِ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ حَتَّى يَأْكُلَ شَيْئًا وَإِذَا كَانَ الْأَضْحَى لَمْ يَأْكُلْ شَيْئًا حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ وَكَانَ إِذَا رَجَعَ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَبِدِ أُضْحِيَّتِهِ
