I attended the Eid with Uthman b. Affan ᴿᴬ. He came, performed the prayer, then turned and delivered a sermon. He said, "On this day of yours, two Eids have coincided. So, whoever among the people of the higher areas wishes to wait for the Friday prayer may wait for it, and whoever wishes to return may do so, for I have granted permission for him."
