[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about what people say on the two Eids, "May Allah accept (good deeds) from us and from you." He said, "That is the practice of the people of the two Scriptures (Jews and Christians), and it is disliked by Abdul-Khaliq bin Zaid, the denier of hadith." (Narrated by Al-Bukhari)  

البيهقي:٦٢٩٧ – أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّزَّازُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْخَالِقِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ؓ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَوْلِ النَّاسِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكُمْ قَالَ ذَلِكَ فِعْلُ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابَيْنِ وَكَرِهَهُ عَبْدُ الْخَالِقِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ قَالَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ
