[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "It is not appropriate for a believer to be foul-mouthed."

الحاكم:١٤٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ مِنْ أَصْلِ كِتَابِهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْقَزَّازُ ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ثنا كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَالِمًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَنْبَغِي لِلْمُؤْمِنِ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا»

ahmad-zuhd:1413 – ʿAbdullāh > Aḥmad b. Ibrāhīm > Abū al-Walīd > al-Mubārak > ʿAbdullāh b. Muslim from his father > Mā Samiʿtuh Yal > Shayʾ Qaṭ

[Machine] He curses something to himself and says "If I cursed something, I wouldn't leave it in my house" and says "A friend should not be a curser."

الزهد لأحمد:١٤١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ مَا سَمِعْتُهُ

يَلْعَنُ شَيْئًا قَطُّ وَيَقُولُ لَوْ لَعَنْتُ شَيْئًا مَا تَرَكْتُهُ فِي بَيْتِي وَيَقُولُ «لَا يَنْبَغِي لِصِدِّيقٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا»
