ahmad-zuhd:1413ʿAbdullāh > Aḥmad b. Ibrāhīm > Abū al-Walīd > al-Mubārak > ʿAbdullāh b. Muslim from his father > Mā Samiʿtuh Yalʿan Shayʾ Qaṭ

[Machine] He curses something to himself and says "If I cursed something, I wouldn't leave it in my house" and says "A friend should not be a curser."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٤١٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ مَا سَمِعْتُهُ

يَلْعَنُ شَيْئًا قَطُّ وَيَقُولُ لَوْ لَعَنْتُ شَيْئًا مَا تَرَكْتُهُ فِي بَيْتِي وَيَقُولُ «لَا يَنْبَغِي لِصِدِّيقٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا»

It does not seem proper for a Siddiq that he should be an invoker of curse. (Using translation from Muslim 2597a)
