“We gave our pledge to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, pledging to listen and obey in times of hardship and times of ease, willingly or reluctantly, and when others are shown preference over us, and that we would not dispute the order of those in charge, that we would speak the truth wherever we are, and that we would not fear the blame of anyone when acting or speaking for the sake of Allah.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2866)
[Machine] I heard 'Ubadah ibn as-Samit saying: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, which action is the best?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "To believe in Allah and to have faith in Him, and then to strive in His cause." The man asked, "What is the next best action after that, O Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "To have good character and to be patient." The man again asked, "What is the next best action after that, O Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Do not reproach or blame Allah for anything that He has decreed for you."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ took a portion from the side of a camel and said, "O people, it is not permissible for me to take from what Allah has granted you, the amount of this, except for one-fifth, and one-fifth is to be returned to you."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Upon you is to strive in the cause of Allah, for it is a door among the doors of Paradise through which Allah removes worries and grief."
Ibn Muhayriz said: A man from Banu Kinanah, named al-Makhdaji, heard a person called AbuMuhammad in Syria, saying: The witr is a duty (wajib). Al-Makhdaji said: So I went to Ubadah ibn as-Samit and informed him. Ubadah said: AbuMuhammad told a lie. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: There are five prayers which Allah has prescribed on His servants. If anyone offers them, not losing any of them, and not treating them lightly, Allah guarantees that He will admit him to Paradise. If anyone does not offer them, Allah does not take any responsibility for such a person. He may either punish him or admit him to Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1420)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , came out to us wanting to inform us about the Night of Decree. Two men argued, and their voices were raised. He said, "I came out to inform you about the Night of Decree, but two men argued and their voices were raised." He said, "Search for it on the ninth, seventh, and fifth (nights) of the last ten days of Ramadan." Ubayy Ibn Ka'b narrated this hadith and said, "Search for it on the ninth night that remains."

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Gold for gold, silver for silver, like for like, until the salt is mentioned." Muawiyah said, "Indeed, this does not mean anything for Ubada." Ubada said, "By Allah, I do not care if I am not in a land where Muawiyah is. I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying that."

Gold is to be paid for by gold, silver by silver, wheat by wheat, barley by barley, dates by dates, and salt by salt, like for like and equal for equal, payment being made hand to hand. If these classes differ, then sell as you wish if payment is made hand to hand. (Using translation from Muslim 1587c)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has commanded us, just as he commanded women and men, not to associate anything with Allah, not to steal, not to commit adultery, not to kill our children, not to slander others, not to harm one another, and not to disobey him in acts of goodness. So whoever among you commits any of these forbidden acts, he will be punished accordingly, but whoever is delayed in punishment, his matter is left to Allah. If Allah wills, he will punish him, and if Allah wills, He will forgive him.
"I heard 'Ubadah bin As-Samit say: 'I pledged to the Messenger of Allah among a group of people, and he said: I accept your pledge that you will not associate anything with Allah, you will not steal, you will not have unlawful sexual relations, you will not kill you children, you will not utter slander, fabricating from between your hands and feet, and you will not disobey me when commanded with goodness. Whoever fulfills (this pledge), his reward will be with Allah, and whoever commits any of these actions and is punished for it, it will be purification for him. Whoever (commits any of these action then) Allah conceals him, it is up to Allah; if He wills He will forgive him, and if He wills, He will punish him."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4178)
[Machine] He said, "When the revelation descended upon him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would experience distress due to it, and his face would become pale. One day, on such an occasion, he encountered it, but when it was concealed from him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Stay away from me. Surely, Allah has made a way for them. The adulteress with the adulterer and the virgin with the virgin. The adulteress is to be lashed a hundred times and stoned with stones, while the virgin is to be lashed a hundred times and then exiled for a year."

[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Similar to that, he said, "As long as they do not command you to sin openly."
"In Paradise, there are a hundred levels, what is between every two levels is like what is between the heavens and the earth. Al-Firdaus is ts highest level, and from it the four rivers of Paradise are made to flow forth. So when you ask Allah, ask Him for Al-Firdaus." Another chain reports a similar narration. (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2531)
[Machine] About the man who asked the Prophet ﷺ for a rope before it was distributed, the Prophet ﷺ said to leave it until it is distributed, and he said that it is reproachful until we distribute, then if you wish, we will give you a rope, and if you wish, we will give you a sum.
[Machine] He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about this verse, "They will have good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter" [Yunus 64]. He said, "It is a righteous vision that the slave sees or that is seen for him."
[Machine] He said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell us about the night of Qadr." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is in the month of Ramadan, seek it in the last ten nights. For it is odd, either on the twenty-first, twenty-third, twenty-fifth, twenty-seventh, or twenty-ninth night. Or it may be on the last night. Whoever stands in prayer on this night with faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven."
[Machine] "He said, 'Indeed, I am one of the leaders who pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ .' He also said, 'We pledged allegiance to him that we will not associate anything with Allah, we will not commit adultery, we will not steal, we will not unlawfully kill a person whom Allah has forbidden, and we will not engage in any dishonesty. And if we do any of these sins, the judgement for that rests with Allah, the Blessed and the Exalted.'"

He who loves to meet Allah, Allah also loves to meet him, and he who dislikes to meet Allah, Allah also abhors to meet him. (Using translation from Muslim 2683a)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Fajr prayer with us, and recitation became heavy for him during it. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his prayer, he turned towards us with his face and said, "I see you reciting behind your imam when he recites aloud." We replied, "Yes, indeed, O Messenger of Allah, this is what we do." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not do so except with the Mother of the Quran, for there is no prayer for the one who does not recite it."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with us, and recitation became difficult for him. When he finished, he asked, "Did you recite?" We replied, "Yes, Messenger of Allah." He said, "It is not necessary for you to recite except for the Opening Chapter of the Book (Al-Fatiha), as there is no prayer without it."

[Machine] In our group, the companions of Badr, there was a disagreement among us regarding the share of spoils. Our conduct in this matter was bad, so Allah took it away from us and gave it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then distributed it among the Muslims equally.

"There is no soul on Earth that dies, and is in a good position before Allah, that would like to come back to you, even if it had all this world, except the one who is killed (in the cause of Allah); he wishes that he could come back and be killed again." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3159)
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no Salah for one who does not recite Fatihatil-Kitab or more.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 911)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with us in the morning and the recitation became difficult for him. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his prayer, he turned towards us and said, "I see you reciting behind your imam when he raises his voice." We said, "Yes, indeed, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Do not do so, except when you recite with Umm al-Qur'an (Surah Al-Fatiha), for there is no prayer for the one who does not recite it."

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet (PBUH) that he said: "There are thirty individuals in this Ummah who are similar to Prophet Ibrahim, the friend of Allah. Whenever one of them passes away, Allah replaces him with another individual."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever performs the five obligatory prayers which Allah has made incumbent upon His slaves, and he meets Him with these (prayers) and he has a covenant with Him that enters him into Paradise. And whoever meets Him and has neglected any of these (prayers) out of belittling their obligation, he will meet Him without a covenant. If He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will forgive him."

[Machine] In the gathering of the companions of Badr, a dispute arose among us regarding the distribution of spoils, and our behavior towards each other deteriorated. As a result, Allah took it away from our hands and gave it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then distributed it among us, saying, "Let it be distributed evenly."

[Machine] I was among those who attended the First Pledge of Aqabah, and we were twelve men. We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the conditions that we would not associate partners with Allah, commit theft, adultery, or kill our children. We also promised not to spread false accusations about each other and not to disobey in matters of goodness. If we fulfill these conditions, we will be rewarded with paradise. However, if we betray these promises, it will be up to Allah to decide whether to punish or forgive us.

He said: 'Verily, the martyrs of my nation are but few. Killing a Muslim is martyrdom, the plague is martyrdom, and a woman is killed by her child is also considered martyrdom.'"

Five qualities in a believer guarantee Jannah: truthfulness, keeping promises, fulfilling trusts, chastity, lowering of the gaze, and self-restraint
that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Guarantee for me six ˹deeds˺ from yourselves and I will guarantee for you Paradise: (1) Be truthful when you speak, (2) keep your promises when you make them, (3) fulfill the trust when you are entrusted, (4) guard your chastity, (5) lower your gaze, and (6) restrain your hands ˹from harming others.˺"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no leader of a group of ten except that he will be brought on the Day of Judgment bound, and no one will be able to release him except for his justice. And there is no person who learns the Quran and then forgets it except that he will meet Allah on the Day of Judgment with a stammer."

He said, 'O son of the silent one, surely Jibreel has informed me of a healing with which I have been cured. Shall I not teach it to you?' I said, 'Yes, indeed.' He said, 'In the name of Allah, I perform Ruqya (healing supplication) upon you from every creature that harms you, from the evil eye of every envious one, and in the name of Allah, He will heal you.'"

[Machine] "We went out with the Prophet ﷺ and I witnessed with him the battle of Badr. The people met and Allah defeated the enemy. One group sets out in pursuit, defeating and killing, while another group surrounds the enemy, captures and gathers them. Another group watches over the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, ensuring that the enemy does not harm him, until nightfall when people return to each other. Those who collected booty said, 'We have collected and gathered it, and no one has a share in it.' Those who went out in search of the enemy said, 'You are not more entitled to it than us, for we drove away the enemy and defeated them.' And those who watched over the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'You are not more entitled to it than us, for we watched over the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and feared that the enemy might harm him, so we were preoccupied with that.' Then the verse was revealed, 'They ask you about the spoils of war. Say, "The spoils of war belong to Allah and the Messenger, so fear Allah and amend your relationship."' (Quran 8:1) So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed them among the Muslims as he saw fit. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to allocate one-fourth of the spoils of war when he would launch an attack on enemy territory, and when returning, he would give one-third to the people. He disliked the spoils of war and would say, 'May the strongest believers repel the weaker ones.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , informed us about the Night of Qadr (Decree), saying: "It is in the month of Ramadan, so seek it in the last ten nights, for it is an odd night, either the night of the twenty-first, twenty-third, twenty-fifth, twenty-seventh, or twenty-ninth, or the last night of Ramadan. Whoever performs night prayers on this night with faith and hoping for its reward, will have his previous sins forgiven."

The Prophet ﷺ said: I have told you so much about the Dajjal (Antichrist) that I am afraid you may not understand. The Antichrist is short, hen-toed, woolly-haired, one-eyed, an eye-sightless, and neither protruding nor deep-seated. If you are confused about him, know that your Lord is not one-eyed. Abu Dawud said: 'Amr bin Al-Aswad was appointed a judge. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4320)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Night of Decree is in the last ten nights of Ramadan. Whoever observes them in worship, seeking his reward from Allah, will have his previous sins forgiven and his future sins pardoned. It is a night of odd numbers; the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, or the 29th night of Ramadan. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said: "The sign of the Night of Decree is that it is a peaceful night with moderate weather. It is as if there is a shining moon without any extreme cold or heat. It is not permissible for any celestial body to be thrown by the shaytan on that night. Its sign is that the sun rises on the morning of that night without rays, similar to the moon on the night of the full moon. On that day, it is not permissible for the shaytan to leave with the sunrise."
