ahmad:22753 – Yaʿqūb from my father > Ibn Isḥāq > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. al-Ḥārith And Ghayruh from Aṣḥābinā > Sulaymān b. Mūsá al-Ashdaq > Makḥūl > Abū Umāmah al-Bāhilī Qālasaʾalt ʿUbādah b. al-Ṣāmit > al-Anfāl

[Machine] In the gathering of the companions of Badr, a dispute arose among us regarding the distribution of spoils, and our behavior towards each other deteriorated. As a result, Allah took it away from our hands and gave it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then distributed it among us, saying, "Let it be distributed evenly."  

أحمد:٢٢٧٥٣ – حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَغَيْرُهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى الْأَشْدَقُ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ قَالَسَأَلْتُ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ عَنِ الْأَنْفَالِ فَقَالَ

فِينَا مَعْشَرَ أَصْحَابِ بَدْرٍ نَزَلَتْ حِينَ اخْتَلَفْنَا فِي النَّفْلِ وَسَاءَتْ فِيهِ أَخْلَاقُنَا فَنَزَعَهُ اللهُ مِنْ أَيْدِينَا فَجَعَلَهُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَسَمَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِينَا عَنْ بَوَاءٍ يَقُولُ عَلَى السَّوَاءِ
