[Machine] Umm Sulaim made a soft bread from barley, as she had some flour. He (the Prophet) said: "So she sent me to him and called him. So I went to him and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Umm Sulaim has made a soft bread for you from barley.' He said: 'And who is with me?' He said: 'So I returned to her and informed her. Abu Talhah came and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, it is only a small amount, and less than a small amount, that Umm Sulaim has made for you.' He said: 'And who is with me?' So the Prophet ﷺ and whoever was with him stood up and entered the house. He said to me: 'O Anas, bring in ten.' So ten people entered, and they ate until they were full. Then he said: 'Bring in ten.' So ten more entered, and they ate until they were full. Then he said: 'Bring in ten to me.' I said to Anas: 'How many were there?' He said: 'Thirty or forty.' So they ate until they were full. Then the Prophet ﷺ ate, and we ate until we were full. He said: 'It was as if it did not decrease at all.' And in another Hadith of Abu Talhah, there was some barley that Umm Sulaim made for him, and she squeezed some ghee on it."

[Machine] Umm Sulaim gave birth to a boy, but he became sick and his condition worsened. Then Umm Sulaim died, and Abu Talha went to the Prophet ﷺ . Abu Talha left the Prophet's presence when he was praying Maghrib. Umm Sulaim wrapped the child and placed him in a corner of her house. Abu Talha missed the child and Umm Sulaim told him that she had made a vow not to bring the child near him, as he had not had a peaceful night since he became sick. So she brought him close to him and he ate. Then she brought him something good and he also ate that. Then she approached Abu Talha and he ate as well. Abu Talha said, "O Abu Talha, if you had seen our neighbors borrowing from each other clothes until they thought we had given them to them, but when they returned them, they found in themselves regret for what they had done." She said, "Indeed, Allah had granted you Fulan (the child) and then He took him back from you, and He is more deserving of him than you." So the next day he went to the Prophet ﷺ in the morning, and informed him of the news. The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, bless their night." Umm Sulaim became pregnant with Abdullah Ibn Abu Talha and she placed him at the end of the night. She said, "Do not wake him up until morning." When morning came, she washed him and made him happy. Then she called Anas and said, "O my son, take your brother to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." Anas said, "So I went and carried him, and there was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing in his Izar (waist wrap) with a comb in his hand. He said, 'O Anas, what is this with you?' I said, 'My brother, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Bring him to me.' So I presented him to him, and he called for a date and chewed it, and then he rubbed the child's gums. The child smiled, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The love of the Ansar is in dates.'"
