[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ arranged the marriage of his daughter Fatimah to Ali ibn Abi Talib and commanded Ali not to enter upon his family until he received permission to do so. Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came. So, he mentioned the Hadith.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «زَوَّجَ ابْنَتَهُ فَاطِمَةَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ حَتَّى يَجِيئَهُ فَجَاءَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ  

[Machine] "About Umm Ayash, who was a servant to the Prophet ﷺ , he sent her with his daughter to Uthman ibn Affan."  

عَنْ أُمِّ عَيَّاشٍ وَكَانَتْ خَادِمًا لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ «بَعَثَ بِهَا مَعَ ابْنَتَهِ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ»  

"I used to help the Messenger of Allah perform ablution, when I was standing and he was sitting." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 392)  

عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ أَبِيهِ أُمِّ عَيَّاشٍ وَكَانَتْ أَمَةً لِرُقَيَّةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ «كُنْتُ أُوَضِّئُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَنَا قَائِمَةٌ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ»  

[Machine] Ruqayyah gave birth to a boy, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named him Abdullah and called Uthman "Abu Abdullah."  

وَلَدَتْ رُقْيَةُ لِعُثْمَانَ غُلَامًا «فَسَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَبْدَ اللهِ وَكَنَى عُثْمَانَ بِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ»  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "I did not marry Uthman to Um Kulthum except by inspiration from the heavens."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا زَوَّجَتُ عُثْمَانَ أُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ إِلَّا بِوَحْيٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ»
