[Machine] Ruqayyah gave birth to a boy, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named him Abdullah and called Uthman "Abu Abdullah."  

الطبراني:٢١٧٩٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا كُرْدُوسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ رَوْحٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَتْ

وَلَدَتْ رُقْيَةُ لِعُثْمَانَ غُلَامًا «فَسَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَبْدَ اللهِ وَكَنَى عُثْمَانَ بِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ»
