[AI] I ate a plate of bread and fatty meat, then I went to the Prophet ﷺ and I started feeling bloated. He said, "What is this, hold back from your bloating, for indeed, most of the people in this life are full, but in the Hereafter, most of them will be hungry."

أَكَلْتُ ثَرِيدَةً مِنْ خُبْزٍ بُرٍّ وَلَحْمٍ سَمِينٍ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَجَعَلْتُ أَتَجَشَّأُ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا كُفَّ مِنْ جُشَائِكَ فَإِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ فِي الدُّنْيَا شِبَعًا أَكْثَرُهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ جُوعًا»

قَالَ أكلتُ ثَرِيدًا وَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيّ ﷺ فَتَجَشَّأْتُ عِنْدَهُ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا جُحَيْفَةَ إِنَّ أَطْوَلَ النَّاسِ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا

[AI] A man belched in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "Control your burping, for the hungriest people on the Day of Judgment will be the most full in the world."

تَجَشَّأَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَقْصِرْ مِنْ جُشَائِكَ فَإِنَّ أَطْوَلَ النَّاسِ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَشْبَعُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا»

[AI] I broke wind in front of the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "What did you eat, Abu Juhaifah?" I said, "Bread and meat." He said, "Indeed, the hungriest person on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who was most satiated in this world."

تَجَشَّأْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا أَكَلْتَ يَا أَبَا جُحَيْفَةَ؟» فَقُلْتُ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا فَقَالَ «إِنَّ أَطْوَلَ النَّاسِ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا»

[AI] I ate a piece of bread with fatty meat, then I went to the Prophet ﷺ and I started to belch. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Refrain from excessive belching, for the majority of people who are content in this world will be the most hungry in the next."

أَكَلْتُ ثَرِيدَةً مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ بِلَحْمٍ سَمِينٍ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَجَعَلْتُ أَتَجَشَّأُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اكْفُفْ مِنْ جَشَائِكَ فَإِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ فِي الدُّنْيَا شِبَعًا أَكْثَرُهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ جُوعًا»

“I heard Salman, when he was forced to eat food, say: ‘It is sufficient for me that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: The people who most eat their fill in this world will be the most hungry on the Day of Resurrection.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3351)

"أَطْولُ النَّاسِ شِبعًا في الدُّنيا أَكثرهُم جُوعًا يوْمَ القيامةِ".

"اكفُف من جُشَائك، فَإنَّ أكثرَ الناسِ في الدنيا شبعًا أكثَرُهُمْ في الآخرةِ جوعًا" .

"إِنَّ أَطْولِ النَّاسِ جُوعًا يوم الْقيَامَةِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ شبَعًا فِى الدُّنْيَا".

"كُفُّ عَنَّا جُشَاءَكَ؛ فَإِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُم شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا أَطْوَلُهُم جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".

"لا تَفْعَلْ يَا أَبَا جُحَيفَةَ، إِنَّ أطوَلَ النَّاسِ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَطوَلُهُمْ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا".

"يَا أَبَا جُحَيْفَةَ أَقْصِر من جُشَائِك؛ فَإِن أطولَ النَّاسِ جوعًا يَوْمَ القِيَامةِ أكثرُهُم شِبَعا في الدُّنْيَا".

"يا هَذَا! كُفَّ مِنْ جُشَائِكَ؛ فَإِنَّ أَكْثَر النَّاسِ في الدُّنْيَا شِبَعًا أَكْثَرُهُمْ في الآخِرَةِ جُوعًا".
