Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade two kinds of sales, two kinds of dresses, and two prayers. He forbade offering prayers after the Fajr prayer till the rising of the sun and after the ʿAsr prayer till its setting. He also forbade "Ishtimal-Assama [??] " and "al-Ihtiba" in one garment in such a way that one's private parts are exposed towards the sky. He also forbade the sales called "Munabadha" and "Mulamasa." (See Hadith No. 354 and 355 Vol. 3).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ وَعَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ وَعَنْ صَلاَتَيْنِ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَعَنِ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ وَعَنْ الاِحْتِبَاءِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ يُفْضِي بِفَرْجِهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَعَنِ الْمُنَابَذَةِ وَالْمُلاَمَسَةِ

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is no prayer after the morning prayer till the sun rises, and there is no prayer after the ʿAsr prayer till the sun sets."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the offering of two prayers: -1. after the morning prayer till the sunrises. -2. after the ʿAsr prayer till the sun sets.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَلاَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

Abu Huraira is reported to have said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited to observe prayer after the 'Asr prayer till the sun is set, and after the dawn till the sun rises.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

I heard it from so many Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and one among them is 'Umar b. Khattab, and he is most dear to me among them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited observing of prayer after the dawn prayer till the sun rose and after the 'Asr till the sun set.

سَمِعْتُ غَيْرَ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْهُمْ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ وَكَانَ أَحَبَّهُمْ إِلَىَّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

No prayer is valid after the 'Asr prayer till the sun sets and no prayer is valid after the dawn prayer till the sun rises.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

Some reliable people testified before me, and among them was Umar ibn al-Khattab, and most reliable in my eyes was Umar: The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: There is no prayer after the dawn prayer until the sun rises; and there is no prayer after the 'Asr prayer until the sun sets.

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

'Are you not going to pray?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no prayer after 'Asr until the sun has set, nor after Subh until the sun has risen.'"

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ forbade praying after 'Asr until the sun had set, and after Subh until the sun had risen.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

"I heard more than one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ - including 'Umar who was one of the dearest of them to me - that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying after Fajr until the sun had risen, and praying after 'Asr until the sun had set."

سَمِعْتُ غَيْرَ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنْهُمْ عُمَرُ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَحَبِّهِمْ إِلَىَّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying after Subh until the sun had risen, and praying after 'Asr until the sun had set."

سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى الطُّلُوعِ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى الْغُرُوبِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'There is no prayer after Fajr until the sun has clearly risen, and no prayer after 'Asr until the sun has fully set.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَبْزُغَ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

prayer after the Fajr until the sun has risen, and prayer after ‘Asr until the sun has set.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ صَلاَتَيْنِ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

“There is no prayer after the ‘Asr until the sun has set, and there is no prayer after the Fajr until the sun has risen.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

“Good men among whom was ‘Umar bin Khattab, and the best of them in my view is ‘Umar, testified before me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘There is no prayer after Fajr until the sun has risen, and there is no prayer after the ‘Asr until the sun has set.’”

لاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَلاَ صَلاَةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

Some men of good character, among whom was ‘Umar, testified before me, and the best of them in my view was ‘Umar, that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to say: ʿThere is no prayer after 'Asr prayer until the sun sets, and there is no prayer after Fajr prayer until the sun rises.ʿ

شَهِدَ عِنْدِي رِجَالٌ مَرْضِيُّونَ فيهُمْ عُمَرُ وَأَرْضَاهُمْ عِنْدِي عُمَرُ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ لَا صَلاةَ بَعْدَ صَلاةِ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلا صَلاةَ بَعْدَ صَلاةِ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

ʿThere is no prayer after Fajr Prayer until the sun rises, or after 'Asr prayer until the sun sets.ʿ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا صَلاةَ بَعْدَ صَلاةِ الصُّبْحِ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَلا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ

Some righteous men, including ‘Umar - and the most righteous of them in my view was 'Umar - confirmed when I was present that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿThere is no prayer after Fajr until the sun rises and there is no prayer after 'Asr until the sun sets.ʿ

شَهِدَ عِنْدِي رِجَالٌ مَرْضِيُّونَ فِيهِمْ عُمَرُ وَأَرْضَاهُمْ عِنْدِي عُمَرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا صَلاةَ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَلا صَلاةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

Good men, among whom was ʿUmar bin al-Khattab, and the best of thern in my view is ʿUmar, testified before me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿThere is no Prayer after two prayers: after Fajr until the sun has risen, and after ‘Asr until the sun has set.ʿ Qatadah narrated a similar report from Abul-ʿAliyah from Ibn ʿAbbas: Good men testified...

وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ مَرَّةً شَهِدَ عِنْدِي رِجَالٌ مَرْضِيُّونَ وَأَرْضَاهُمْ عِنْدِي عُمَرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا صَلاةَ بَعْدَ صَلاتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

I heard Rufaiʿ Abul-ʿAliyah narrate from Ibn ‘Abbas: A man told me - Shu’bah said: I think he said: one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ - The most admired of therm to me is Umar bin al Khattab ؓ : The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying at two times: after ʿAsr until the sun sets and after Fajr until the sun rises.

مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ وَأَعْجَبُهُمْ إِلَيَّ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاةِ فِي سَاعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ

Some men of good character, among whom was ‘Umar, who is the best of them in my view, testified in my presence that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying after Fajr prayer until the sun rose, and after Asr prayer until it (the sun) set.

أَنَّهُ قَالَ شَهِدَ عِنْدِي رِجَالٌ مَرْضِيُّونَ فِيهِمْ عُمَرُ وَأَرْضَاهُمْ عِنْدِي عُمَرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ صَلاةٍ بَعْدَ صَلاةِ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ

[AI] "There are two prayers after which no prayer should be offered: the dawn prayer until the sun rises, and the Asr prayer until the sun sets."

«صَلاتَانِ لَا يُصَلَّى بَعْدَهُمَا: الصُّبْحُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ، وَالْعَصْرُ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ.»

Abu Huraira is reported to have said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited to observe prayer after the 'Asr prayer till the sun is set, and after the dawn till the sun rises. (Using translation from Muslim 825)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَعَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade two prayers, two garments, and two transactions. He forbade praying after Fajr until the sunrise and praying after Asr until the sunset. He also forbade wearing a garment made of wool containing silk, and wearing a single garment that exposes your private parts to the sky.

[AI] It is claimed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade prayer after Asr (afternoon prayer) until sunset and after Fajr (dawn prayer) until sunrise.

زَعَمَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ وَبَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ

“There is no prayer after the ‘Asr until the sun has set, and there is no prayer after the Fajr until the sun has risen.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1249)

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَصَلَاتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibiting fasting for two consecutive days, prohibiting offering prayers after Fajr until the sun rises and after Asr until the sun sets, prohibiting fasting on the days of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, and prohibiting a man from marrying his wife's sister or his maternal aunt.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَىعَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمَيْنِ وَعَنْ صَلَاتَيْنِ وَعَنْ نِكَاحَيْنِ سَمِعْتُهُ يَنْهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَعَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ وَالْأَضْحَى وَأَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَخَالَتِهَا وَبَيْنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَعَمَّتِهَا

[AI] According to Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, they heard him saying that he heard Abu Al-Qasim saying, "There is no prayer after the Fajr prayer until the sun rises, and there is no prayer after the Asr prayer until the night."

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَاهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ يَقُولُ لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى اللَّيْلِ

prayer after the Fajr until the sun has risen, and prayer after ‘Asr until the sun has set. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1248)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ صَلَاتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْغَدَاةِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

'Are you not going to pray?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no prayer after 'Asr until the sun has set, nor after Subh until the sun has risen.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 518)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى أَوْ يَقُولُ لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'There is no prayer after Fajr until the sun has clearly risen, and no prayer after 'Asr until the sun has fully set.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 567)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ إِلَّا بِمَكَّةَ إِلَّا بِمَكَّةَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban from al Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade prayer after asr until the sun had set, and prayer after subh until the sun had risen.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ forbade praying after 'Asr until the sun had set, and after Subh until the sun had risen. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 561)

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَعَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ»

عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ أَوْ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبِنِصْفِ النَّهَارِ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ فِي شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ حَفْصٍ إلاَّ أُسَامة بْنُ زَيْدٍ

[AI] He used to perform tawaf (circumambulation) around the Kaaba after Asr (afternoon prayer), but he didn't pray. So Mu'adh, a man from the Quraysh, said to him, "What prevents you from praying?" He replied, "Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding prayer after the two prayers, after the Fajr (dawn) prayer until the sun rises, and after the Asr (afternoon) prayer until the sun sets."

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَطَافَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ فَقَالَ لَهُ مُعَاذٌ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ مَا يَمْنَعُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ؟ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ صَلَاتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no prayer after the two prayers: after Fajr until the sun rises, and after Asr until the sun sets."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ صَلَاتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْغَدَاةِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

[AI] From his grandfather Mu'adh, a man from the tribe of Taym, it was reported that he used to perform Tawaf (circumambulation) after Asr (afternoon prayer) with Mu'adh bin 'Afra. However, he did not perform the prayer. So, I asked him, "What prevented you from praying?" He replied, "Verily, the Prophet ﷺ prohibited praying during two periods: two hours after Fajr (dawn prayer) until the sunrise and after Asr until the sunset."

عَنْ جَدِّهِ مُعَاذٍ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي تَيْمٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَطُوفُ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ مَعَ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ فَقُلْتُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ؟ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي سَاعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ

'Are you not going to pray?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no prayer after 'Asr until the sun has set, nor after Subh until the sun has risen.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 518)

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ»

Abu Huraira is reported to have said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited to observe prayer after the 'Asr prayer till the sun is set, and after the dawn till the sun rises. (Using translation from Muslim 825)

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ وَعَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying after Subh until the sun had risen, and praying after 'Asr until the sun had set." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 566)

سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى الطُّلُوعِ وَعَنْ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى الْغُرُوبِ»

[AI] "There were men who were sick in my presence, among them was Umar and their obedience to me was evident. Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying after Fajr prayer until the sun rises, and after Asr prayer until the sun sets."

شَهِدَ عِنْدِي رِجَالٌ مَرْضِيُّونَ فِيهِمْ عُمَرُ وَأَرْضَاهُمْ عِنْدِي عُمَرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ قَالَ لَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تُشْرِقَ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ تَطْلُعَ وَبَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ
