Recite (the Surah) 'Say, O you disbelievers!' and then go to sleep at its end, for it is a declaration of freedom from polytheism.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِنَوْفَلٍ اقْرَأْ { قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ } ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me something to say when I go to sleep." He said, "When you lie down at night, recite Surah Al-Kafirun ('O disbelievers!') because it is a disavowal of polytheism."

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا أَقُولُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ إِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَأَقْرَأْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There will come a time when something will come to you.' He said, 'I came to you to teach me something to say before I sleep.' He said, 'When you go to your bed, recite Surah Al-Kafirun (Chapter 109) and then sleep upon its completion, for it is a disavowal of polytheism.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَجِيءٌ مَا جَاءَ بِكَ» قَالَ جِئْتُ لِتُعَلِّمَنِي شَيْئًا أَقُولُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ «فَإِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ فَاقْرَأْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ»

[Machine] He said to the Prophet ﷺ , "Give me something to say." The Prophet replied, "When you go to your bed, recite [Surah Al-Kafirun] until its end, for it is a disavowal from polytheism."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مُرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ أَقُولُهُ فَقَالَ إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى مَضْجَعِكَ فَاقْرَأْ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} [الكافرون 1] إِلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: Teach me something that will benefit me. He said: When you lie down in your bed, say "Qul yaa ayyuhal kaafiroon" until you complete it, for it is a protection from associating partners with Allah.

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قُلْتُ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا يَنْفَعُنِي قَالَ إِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ فَقُلْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ حَتَّى تَخْتِمَهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'So what have you come with?' I said, 'I have come, O Messenger of Allah, to learn something that I can say during my sleep.' He said, 'When you lie down on your bed, recite Surah Al-Kafirun (Chapter 109) until the end, for it is a protection from shirk (associating partners with Allah).'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «فَمَجِيءُ مَا جَاءَ بِكَ؟» قَالَ قُلْتُ جِئْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِتُعَلِّمَنِي شَيْئًا أَقَوْلُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ إِذَا أَخَذَتْ مَضْجَعَكَ فَاقْرَأْ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} [الكافرون 1] ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[Machine] "I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : 'I have come to you, O Messenger of Allah, to teach me something to say when I go to sleep.' He replied: 'When you go to bed, recite Surah Al-Kafirun, then sleep. For it is an immunity from shirk (polytheism)."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «فَمَجِيءٌ مَا جَاءَ بِكَ» قُلْتُ جِئْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِتُعَلِّمَنِي شَيْئًا أَقَوْلُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ «إِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ فَاقْرَأْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ»

"إذَا أَوَيتَ إلَى فِرَاشِك فاقرأ (قلْ يا أيُّها الكافرون) ثم نَمْ عَلى خاتِمتها فإنها براءةٌ من الشرك".

" قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ الله: أَخْبِرنِى بِشَىْءٍ أَقُولُهُ إِذَا أَصْبحْتُ وَإِذا أَمْسَيْت، فَقَالَ: أقْرَأ {قُلْ يَاأَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا، فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ".
