Recite (the Surah) 'Say, O you disbelievers!' and then go to sleep at its end, for it is a declaration of freedom from polytheism.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِنَوْفَلٍ اقْرَأْ { قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ } ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There will come a time when something will come to you.' He said, 'I came to you to teach me something to say before I sleep.' He said, 'When you go to your bed, recite Surah Al-Kafirun (Chapter 109) and then sleep upon its completion, for it is a disavowal of polytheism.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَجِيءٌ مَا جَاءَ بِكَ» قَالَ جِئْتُ لِتُعَلِّمَنِي شَيْئًا أَقُولُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ «فَإِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ فَاقْرَأْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ»

[AI] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me something to say when I go to sleep." He said, "When you lie down at night, recite Surah Al-Kafirun ('O disbelievers!') because it is a disavowal of polytheism."

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا أَقُولُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ إِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَأَقْرَأْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[AI] I came to the Prophet ﷺ , and he asked, "Why have you come?" I said, "I have come to learn something that I can say during my sleep." He said, "Recite 'Say, O disbelievers' (Quran 109) before you sleep, as it is a protection from polytheism."

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَجِيءُ مَا جِئْتَ؟ قَالَ جِئْتُ لِتُعَلِّمَنِي شَيْئًا أَقُولُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ اقْرَأْ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} عِنْدَ مَنَامِكَ فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said to a man: "Recite 'Qul ya ayyuha al-kafiroon' before sleeping, as it is a protection against polytheism."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍِ اقْرَأْ عِنْدَ مَنَامِكَ فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ}

[AI] From Farwah al-Ashja'i, who narrates from the Prophet ﷺ that he said to a man: "Recite Surah Al-Kafirun (Chapter of Disbelievers) when you go to sleep, for it is a protection from polytheism."

عَنْ فَرْوَةَ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ اقْرَأْ عِنْدَ مَنَامِكَ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a man, "Recite in your sleep 'Say, O disbelievers'" for it is a means of protection from polytheism.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهٍِ ﷺ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ اقْرَأْ عِنْدَ مَنَامِكَ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[AI] He said to the Prophet ﷺ , "Give me something to say." The Prophet replied, "When you go to your bed, recite [Surah Al-Kafirun] until its end, for it is a disavowal from polytheism."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مُرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ أَقُولُهُ فَقَالَ إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى مَضْجَعِكَ فَاقْرَأْ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} [الكافرون 1] إِلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When you go to your bed, recite Surah Al-Kafirun until the end, for it is a testimony against polytheism."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى فِرَاشِكَ فَاقْرَأْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ حَتَّى تَمُرَّ بِآخِرِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a man, "Recite 'Say: O disbelievers' (Quran 109:1)' when you go to sleep, as it is an immunity from polytheism."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِرَجُلٍ اقْرَأْ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} [الكافرون 1] عِنْدَ مَنَامِكَ فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

[AI] "I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : 'I have come to you, O Messenger of Allah, to teach me something to say when I go to sleep.' He replied: 'When you go to bed, recite Surah Al-Kafirun, then sleep. For it is an immunity from shirk (polytheism)."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «فَمَجِيءٌ مَا جَاءَ بِكَ» قُلْتُ جِئْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِتُعَلِّمَنِي شَيْئًا أَقَوْلُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ «إِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ فَاقْرَأْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ»
