ذِكْرُ الْعِلَّةِ الَّتِي مِنْ أَجْلِهَا أَمَرَ بِهَذَا الْفِعْلِ

ibnhibban:790al-Ṣūfī > ʿAlī b.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you have a night partner whom you trust to take care of her?" He then came and asked the prophet ﷺ , "I left her with her mother." He said, "So what brought you here?" He replied, "I came to learn something to say during my sleep." He said, "Recite 'Say, O disbelievers' (Quran 109) and then sleep with its ending, for it is a declaration of innocence from polytheism."  

ابن حبّان:٧٩٠أَخْبَرَنَا الصُّوفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ* عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «هَلْ لَكَ فِي رَبِيبَةٍ فَيَكْفُلُهَا* * رَبِيبٌ » *؟ قَالَ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَسَأَلَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ تَرَكْتُهَا عِنْدَ أُمِّهَا قَالَ «فَمَجِيءٌ مَا جَاءَ بِكَ؟ » قَالَ جِئْتُ لِتُعَلِّمَنِي شَيْئًا أَقُولُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ «اقْرَأْ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ»

The Prophet asked, "What did the slave girl do?" He replied, "I left her with her mother." The Prophet said, "So what brought you here?" He replied, "I came to learn something to say in my dream." The Prophet said, "Read 'Say, O disbelievers' and then sleep over it, as it is a declaration of innocence from polytheism."

[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ , and he asked, "Why have you come?" I said, "I have come to learn something that I can say during my sleep." He said, "Recite 'Say, O disbelievers' (Quran 109) before you sleep, as it is a protection from polytheism."

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There will come a time when something will come to you.' He said, 'I came to you to teach me something to say before I sleep.' He said, 'When you go to your bed, recite Surah Al-Kafirun (Chapter 109) and then sleep upon its completion, for it is a disavowal of polytheism.'"

I said, 'She was with her mother.' He said, 'So, what you have come for?' I said, 'I came so that you can teach me something to say in my dreams.' He said, 'Recite: Say, O disbelievers, for it is a disassociation from polytheism.'"  

الحاكم:٢٠٧٧أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّبِيعِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ

عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ دَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ ابْنَتَهُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ ظِئْرِي قَالَ فَقَدِمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ «مَا فَعَلْتُ الْجُوَيْرِيَةُ أَوِ الْجَارِيَةُ؟ » قُلْتُ عِنْدَ أُمِّهَا قَالَ «فَمَجِيءُ مَا جِئْتَ» قَالَ جِئْتُ تُعَلِّمُنِي شَيْئًا أَقُولُهُ عِنْدَ مَنَامِي قَالَ «اقْرَأْ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ»  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you have someone to take care of us in Rabi'ah? Zainab, will you take care of her?" He replied, "I left her with her mother." The Prophet ﷺ then said, "What brings you here?" He said, "I came to learn something to say in my dream." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Recite Say, 'O disbelievers' and then sleep on its end, for it is a disavowal of polytheism."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you have a rabeepah (slave girl) that you can give to us as a trust?" He (the person being asked) said, "I left her with her mother." The Prophet ﷺ said, "What brought you here then?" He (the person being asked) said, "I came so that you can teach me something to say in my dream." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Recite 'Say, O disbelievers' and then sleep on its completion, for it is a form of protection from shirk (associating partners with Allah)."
