٥١۔ كِتَابُ عِشْرَةِ النِّسَاءِ

51.64 [Machine] The preferable time for a man to court his wife

٥١۔٦٤ الْوَقْتُ الَّذِي يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَطْرُقَ فِيهِ زَوْجَتَهُ

nasai-kubra:9101Hārūn b. ʿAbdullāh > Yazīd b. Hārūn > Hammām b. Yaḥyá > Isḥāq b. ʿAbdullāh b. Abū Ṭalḥah > Anas

It has been narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not come (back) to his family by night. He would come to them in the morning or in the evening. (Using translation from Muslim 1928a)   

الكبرى للنسائي:٩١٠١أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَطْرُقُ أَهْلَهُ لَيْلًا يَقْدَمُ غُدْوَةً أَوْ عَشِيَّةً»
