51. Companionship of Women
٥١۔ كِتَابُ عِشْرَةِ النِّسَاءِ
[Machine] Abu Bakr entered upon her during the days of Mina with two slave girls who were singing and playing the tambourine. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was reclining with his face towards his garment, not commanding or forbidding them. Abu Bakr scolded them and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Leave them, O Abu Bakr, for it is the days of 'Eid."
أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا أَيَّامَ مِنَى وَعِنْدَهَا جَارِيَتَانِ تُغَنِّيَانِ وَتَضْرِبَانِ بِدُفَّيْنِ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُسَجًّى عَلَى وَجْهِهِ الثَّوْبُ لَا يَأْمُرُهُنَّ وَلَا يَنْهَاهُنَّ فَنَهَرَهُنَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «دَعْهُنَّ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ عِيدٍ»
[Machine] A woman came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said to Aisha, "Do you know her?" She replied, "No, O Prophet of Allah." He said, "This is Qayna, the daughter of so and so, and she loves to sing for you. So she sang for her."
أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ «تَعْرِفِينَ هَذِهِ؟» قَالَتْ لَا يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ قَالَ «هَذِهِ قَيْنَةُ بَنِي فُلَانٍ تُحِبِّينَ أَنْ تُغَنِّيَكِ؟ فَغَنَّتْهَا»
