[Machine] Fatimah bint Qais consulted the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I have menstruation, so I am not pure. Should I leave prayer?" He responded, "That is just a vein, not menstruation. Performing a complete ablution is sufficient."  

الحاكم:٦٨٨٥فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ اسْتَفْتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أُسْتَحَاضُ فَلَا أَطْهُرُ أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلَاةَ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ عِرْقٌ لَيْسَ بِالْحَيْضِ وَغُسْلٌ وَاحِدٌ أَتَمُّ مِنَ الْوضُوءِ»

Fatima bint Abi Hubaish asked the Prophet, "I got persistent bleeding (in between the periods) and do not become clean. Shall I give up prayers?" He replied, "No, this is from a blood vessel. Give up the prayers only for the days on which you usually get the menses and then take a bath and offer your prayers."

Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "I am a woman who suffers from Istihadah and I never become pure. Should I stop praying?" He said: "No, that is a vein, it is not menstruation. When your period comes, stop praying, and when it goes, wash the blood from yourself and pray."

"Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I do not become pure. Should I stop praying?' Fatimah daughter of Abu Hubaish came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: I am a woman who has prolonged flow of blood; I am never purified ; should I abandon prayer ? He replied: This is (due to) a vein, and not menstruation. When the menstruation begins, you should abandon prayer ; when it is finished, you should wash away the blood and pray.  

أبو داود:٢٨٢حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ جَاءَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُسْتَحَاضُ فَلاَ أَطْهُرُ أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلاَةَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا ذَلِكِ عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَتْ بِالْحَيْضَةِ فَإِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الْحَيْضَةُ فَدَعِي الصَّلاَةَ وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ فَاغْسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ ثُمَّ صَلِّي

[Machine] Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh consulted the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I am experiencing istihada (irregular bleeding), so should I leave praying?" He replied, "That is a vein and not menstruation. When your regular period comes, leave praying, and when it ends, wash away the blood and perform ablution, for that is only a vein and not menstruation."  

الطبراني:٢١٣٥٨حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْمَازِنِيُّ ثنا كَثِيرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالُوا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ اسْتَفْتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أَسْتَحِيضُ فَلَا أَطْهُرُ أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلَاةَ؟ قَالَ «ذَاكَ عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَ بِحَيْضَةٍ فَإِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الْحَيْضَةُ فَدَعِي الصَّلَاةَ وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ فَاغْسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ وَتَوَضَّئِي فَإِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَتْ بِالْحَيْضَةِ»

Fatimah b. Abu Hubaish came to the Apostle ﷺ and said: I am a woman whose blood keeps flowing (even after the menstruation period). I am never purified; should I, therefore, abandon prayer? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Not at all, for that is only a vein, and is not a menstruation, so when menstruation comes, abandon prayer, and when it ends wash the blood from yourself and then pray. (Using translation from Muslim 333a)
