The Prophet ﷺ said, "Say Amin" when the Imam says it and if the Amin of any one of you coincides with that of the angels then all his past sins will be forgiven." Ibn Shihab said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to Say "Amin."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَقَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ آمِينَ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Say Amen when the Imam says 'Ghairi l-maghdubi ʿalaihim wala d-daalleen' (not the path of those who earn Your Anger (such as Jews) nor of those who go astray (such as Christians)); all the past sins of the person whose saying (of Amin) coincides with that of the angels, will be forgiven".

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ} فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the Imam says, "Samiʿa l-lahu liman hamidah," you should say, "Allahumma Rabbana laka l-hamd." And if the saying of any one of you coincides with that of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the Imam, during the prayer, says, "Allah hears him who praises Him', say: 'O Allah! Our Lord! All the praises are for You/, for if the saying of anyone of you coincides with the saying of the angels, his past sins will be forgiven."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the Imam says: 'Ghair-il-Maghdubi ʿalaihim Walad-Dallin (i.e. not the path of those who earn Your Anger, nor the path of those who went astray (1.7)), then you must say, 'Ameen', for if one's utterance of 'Ameen' coincides with that of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ} فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "When the Imam says 'Amin', then you should all say 'Amin', for the angels say 'Amin' at that time, and he whose 'Amin' coincides with the 'Amin' of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُؤَمِّنُ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When the Imam says:" Allah listens to him who praises Him." you should say:" O Allah, our Lord for Thee is the praise." for if what anyone says synchronises with what the angels say, his past sins will be forgiven.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: SayAmin when the Imam says Amin, for it anyone's utterance of Amin synchronises with that of the angels, he will be forgiven his past sins.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ آمِينَ

When the Imam says: “Allah listens to him who praised Him,” say: “O Allah, our lord, to Thee be the praise, “ for if what anyone says synchronises with what the angels say, he will be forgiven his past sins.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying; When the Imam says Amin, say Amin, for if anyone’s utterance of Amin synchronnises with that of the angles, he will be forgiven his past sins. Ibn shihab (al Zuhrl) said; The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) used to say Amin (At the end of the Fatihah)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ آمِينَ

the Prophet said "When the Imam says 'Amin' then (all of you) say 'Amin.' For whoever's 'Amin' concurs with the 'Amin' of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Messenger of Allah said: "When the Imam says: (Sami Allahu liman hamidah) 'Allah listens to those who praise Him. Then (all of you) say: (Rabbana wa lakal-hamd) 'O our Lord! And to You is the praise for whoever's saying concurs with the saying of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the reciter says Amin, then say: "Amin" too, for the angels say Amin and if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, Allah will forgive his previous sins"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُؤَمِّنُ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the Imam says: Not (the way) of those who earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray, say: 'Amin' for the angels say Amin and the Imam says Amin, and if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ { غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ } فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تَقُولُ آمِينَ وَإِنَّ الإِمَامَ يَقُولُ آمِينَ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the Imam says Amin, say Amin, for if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.'"

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the Imam says: 'Sami Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him),' then say: 'Rabbana wa lakal-hamd,' (Our Lord, and to You be the praise).' Whoever says that and it coincides with the angels saying it, his previous sins will be forgiven."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة 7] فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

When the Imam says: “Allah listens to him who praised Him,” say: “O Allah, our lord, to Thee be the praise, “ for if what anyone says synchronises with what the angels say, he will be forgiven his past sins. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 848)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Sa'id ibn al- Musayyab and Abu Salama ibn Abd ar-Rahman told him from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the imam says 'Amin', say 'Amin', for the one whose 'Amin' coincides with the 'Amin' of the angels - his previous wrong actions are forgiven him." Ibn Shihab said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say 'Aameen' (extending it)."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ آمِينَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Sumayy, the mawla of Abu Bakr, from Abu Salih as Samman, from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the imam has said, 'not of those with whom You are angry nor of those who are in error,' say 'Amin', for the previous wrong actions of the one whose utterance coincides with that of the angels, are forgiven him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Sumayy, the mawla of Abu Bakr, from Abu Salih as-Samman from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the imam says, 'Allah hears whoever praises Him,' say 'O Allah! Our Lord, praise be toYou, 'for the previous wrong actions done by the one whose utterance coincides with that of the angels are forgiven."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the Imam says: Not (the way) of those who earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray, say: 'Amin' for the angels say Amin and the Imam says Amin, and if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 927)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تَقُولُ آمِينَ وَالْإِمَامَ يَقُولُ آمِينَ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»

When the Imam says: “Allah listens to him who praised Him,” say: “O Allah, our lord, to Thee be the praise, “ for if what anyone says synchronises with what the angels say, he will be forgiven his past sins. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 848)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»

When the Imam says: “Allah listens to him who praised Him,” say: “O Allah, our lord, to Thee be the praise, “ for if what anyone says synchronises with what the angels say, he will be forgiven his past sins. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 848)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "When the Imam says 'Amin', then you should all say 'Amin', for the angels say 'Amin' at that time, and he whose 'Amin' coincides with the 'Amin' of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6402)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُؤَمِّنُ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»

Abu Hurairah reported the prophet ﷺ as saying; when the imam recites “ not of those with whom thou art angry, nor of those who go astray” (surah al-fatihah,verse 7) say Amin, for if one’s words (utterance of amin) synchronise with those of the angles, he will be forgiven his past sins. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 935)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة 7] فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the imam says, {Not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray} [Surah Al-Fatiha, verse 7], then say 'Ameen', for indeed, whoever's saying coincides with the saying of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven." And from Suwaid ibn Nasr, from Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak, from Malik ibn 'Amr, and from al-Harith ibn Maskeen, from 'Abd ar-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from Malik ibn Anas.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة 7] فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ 11890 وَعَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ نَصْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ بِهِ [416] 11891 وَعَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ مِسْكِينٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ بِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the Imam proclaims security, then seek security, for whoever attains his security will have the angels secure him and all his previous sins will be forgiven." And from Suwaid ibn Nasr, from Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak, from Yunus, from Az-Zuhri, from them both.

أَن رَسُول الله ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَمِنْ الْإِمَام فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّه مِنْ وَافَق تَأْمِينُه تَأْمِين الْمَلَائِكَة غَفَر لَه مَا تَقَدَّم مِنْ ذَنْبِه» وَعَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ نَصْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُس عَنْ الزُّهْرِي عَنْهُمَا بِه

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the Imam says: Not (the way) of those who earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray, say: 'Amin' for the angels say Amin and the Imam says Amin, and if a person's Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 927)

قَالَ رَسُول الله ﷺ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَام {غَيْر الْمَغْضُوب عَلَيْهِم وَلَا الضآلين} فَقُولُوا آمِين فَإِن الْمَلَائِكَة تَقُول آمِين وَإِن الْإِمَام يَقُول آمِين فَمَن وَافَق تَأْمِينُه تَأْمِين الْمَلَائِكَة غَفَر لَه مَا تَقَدَّم مِنْ ذَنْبِه

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When the Imam says, 'Allah hears whoever praises Him,' then say, 'Our Lord, praise be to You. Indeed, whoever's statement aligns with the statement of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.' It is narrated by Suwaid bin Nasr from Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak from Malik bin Heitham from the chain of Qutaibah bin Saeed from Ya'qub bin Abdul Rahman from Suhail bin Abi Salih from his father."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ 11902 وَعَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ نَصْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ بِهِ 11903 وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ بِهِ 11904 وَعَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ بِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "When the Imam says 'Amin', then you should all say 'Amin', for the angels say 'Amin' at that time, and he whose 'Amin' coincides with the 'Amin' of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6402)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ يُؤَمِّنُونَ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the imam says, 'Not the path of those who have incurred [Your] anger or those who have gone astray' [Al-Fatihah 7], then say Ameen, for whoever's statement matches the statement of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ { غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة 7] فَقُولُوا آمِينَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If the Imam is safe, then everyone will be safe, as the angels assure his safety. Whoever agrees with his safety, the safety of the angels will cover him, and his previous sins will be forgiven." Ibn Shihab (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "Aameen." Yunus said: Ibn Shihab used to say that this hadith was narrated from Malik, and it was also narrated by Muslim from Harmalah ibn Yahya, from Ibn Wahb, from Yunus.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُؤَمِّنُ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ آمِينَ قَالَ يُونُسُ وَكَانَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ أَخْرَجَاهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ حَرْمَلَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the Imam says, 'Allah listens to the one who praises Him,' then say, 'Our Lord, praise be to You.' For indeed, whoever's statement corresponds with the statement of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The prayer in congregation is better than the prayer of one of you alone by twenty-five times." Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, through Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq, through Ismail ibn Qutayba, through Yahya ibn Yahya, who said: "I read this from Malik, and he mentioned it likewise."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ صَلَاةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ أَحَدِكُمْ وَحْدَهُ بِخَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ جُزْءًا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Performing Umrah after Umrah is an expiation for what is between them, and there is no reward for accepted Hajj except Paradise." Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz informed us that Abu Bakr Ibn Ishaq Al-Faqih narrated to us that Isma'il ibn Qutaybah narrated to us that Yahya ibn Yahya said: "I recited it upon Malik, and he mentioned it similarly."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْعُمْرَةُ إِلَى الْعُمْرَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَالْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the killing of dogs. Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us that Yahya ibn Mansur al-Qadi informed me that Muhammad ibn Abd al-Salam al-Warraq narrated to me that Yahya ibn Yahya said, "I read to Malik, and he mentioned it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ 11019 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ الْوَرَّاقُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The widowed woman has more right to herself than her guardian, and the virgin seeks permission for herself, and her permission is her silence." And Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz informed us, and Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq narrated to us, and Ismail ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, and Yahya ibn Yahya said, "I said to Malik, 'Abdullah ibn Al-Fadl narrated to you, so mention it to me like Ibn Wahb's narration.'"

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْأَيِّمُ أَحَقُّ بِنَفْسِهَا مِنْ وَلِيِّهَا وَالْبِكْرُ تُسْتَأْذَنُ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَإِذْنُهَا صُمَاتُهَا 13662 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قُلْتُ لِمَالِكٍ حَدَّثَكَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ فَذَكَرَهُ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the Jews and Christians do not dye their hair, so differentiate yourselves from them." And Abu Abdullah informed us that Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq informed us that Ismail ibn Qutaybah narrated to us from Yahya ibn Yahya from Sufyan from Az-Zuhri who mentioned it similarly.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لَا يَصْبُغُونَ فَخَالِفُوهُمْ 14812 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ نا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى نا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ فَذَكَرَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever drinks alcohol in this world and does not repent from it, will be deprived of it in the Hereafter." And Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz informed us that Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq informed us that Ismail ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Yahya, who said, "I read to Malik and mentioned it to him in a similar way, except that he did not mention repentance."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُبْ مِنْهَا حُرِمَهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ 17337 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ التَّوْبَةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has forbidden to travel with the Quran to the land of the enemy. Malik said, "I consider it out of fear that the enemy might harm him." And Abu Abdullah informed us through Ali ibn Isa ibn Ibrahim through Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn and Muhammad ibn Amr Al-Harshi and Ibrahim ibn Ali, saying: Yahya ibn Yahya said: I read to Malik, and he mentioned it similar to this but he did not mention Malik's statement.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُسَافَرَ بِالْقُرْآنِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ قَالَ مَالِكٌ أُرَاهُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ الْعَدُوُّ 18240 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَرَشِيُّ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالُوا ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ قَوْلَ مَالِكٍ

[AI] "And her loyalty to us, so she mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he said, 'That should not stop you, as loyalty is only to those who have been emancipated.' And Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz informed us that Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us that Jafar ibn Muhammad and Muhammad ibn Abdus Salam informed them that Yahya ibn Yahya said, 'I read to Malik and he mentioned it in a similar way.'"

وَلَاءَهَا لَنَا فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَا يَمْنَعْكِ ذَلِكَ إِنَّمَا الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ 21449 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ قَالَا ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ
