The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah." (Using translation from Bukhārī 7401)
رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللهِ لَا تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah." (Using translation from Bukhārī 7401)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "If anybody has to take an oath, he should swear only by Allah." The people of Quraish used to swear by their fathers, but the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not swear by your fathers. "
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَلاَ مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلاَ يَحْلِفْ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ فَكَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ تَحْلِفُ بِآبَائِهَا فَقَالَ لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ
that he found ʿUmar bin Al-Khattab in a group of people and he was swearing by his father. So Messenger of Allah ﷺ called them, saying, "Verily! Allah forbids you to swear by your fathers. If one has to take an oath, he should swear by Allah or otherwise keep quiet."
أَنَّهُ أَدْرَكَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ فِي رَكْبٍ وَهْوَ يَحْلِفُ بِأَبِيهِ فَنَادَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَلاَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ فَمَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ وَإِلاَّ فَلْيَصْمُتْ
Messenger of Allah ﷺ met ʿUmar bin Al-Khattab while the latter was going with a group of camel-riders, and he was swearing by his father. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Lo! Allah forbids you to swear by your fathers, so whoever has to take an oath, he should swear by Allah or keep quiet."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَدْرَكَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَهْوَ يَسِيرُ فِي رَكْبٍ يَحْلِفُ بِأَبِيهِ فَقَالَ أَلاَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not swear by your fathers."
رَسُولُ اللَّهُ ﷺ لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah."
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ وَمَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ
'Abdullah (b. Umar) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ found, Umar b. al-Khattab amongst the riders and he was taking oath by his father Messenger of Allah ﷺ called them (saying) ; Our Allah, the Exated and Majestic, has forbidden you that you take oath by your father. He who bag to take an oath, he must take it by Allah or keep quiet.

He who has to take an oath, he must not take oath but by Allah. The Quraish used to take oath by their fathers. So he (the Holy Prophet) said: Do not take oath by your fathers.

No, by my father. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Stop it! whoever swears by anything other than Allah has committed an act of shirk.ʿ
رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَهْ إِنَّهُ مَنْ حَلَفَ بِشَيْءٍ دُونَ اللهِ فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ
[AI] Ibn Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ encountered Umar during one of his journeys and heard him saying, "And my father, and my father." So he said, "Verily, Allah forbids you from swearing by your fathers. So whoever swears, let him swear by Allah, and whoever does not, then let him remain silent."

If anyone swears, let him swear by Allah or keep silent."

"أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻِّ نَهَاكُم أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بآبَائِكُمْ، فَمَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَليَحْلِفْ بِاللَّه أوْ لِيَصْمُتْ".
"أَلَا مَن كَان حالِفًا فَلَا يحْلِفْ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، لا تَحْلِفُوا بآبائِكُمْ".
"مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلَا يَحْلف إِلا بالله".
"لا تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ، فَمَنْ (*) حَلَفَ بِشَئٍ دُونَ اللهِ فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ".
