The Prophet ﷺ used to pray Witr at the time of the adhan and pray two rakʿahs at the time of the iqamah. (Using translation from Aḥmad 884)   

أحمد:٢٥٠٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ الْأَذَانِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ

أحمد:٢٤٥١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ النِّدَاءِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ

'A'isha reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to observe two (supererogatory) rak'ahs in between the call to prayer and the Iqama of the dawn prayer. (Using translation from Muslim 724c)
