[Machine] From the ship of the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, it was said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) with a sa' (a measure of volume) and purify himself with mud."

The Prophet ﷺ used to take a bath with a sa' (of water) and perform ablution with a mudd (of water)  

أبو داود:٩٣ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ بِالْمُدِّ

"The Messenger of Allah used to perform ablution with a Mudd (of water) and bath with a Sa'."
