"The Messenger of Allah ﷺforbade praying after 'Asr unless the sun was still white, clear and high."  

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ الشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءَ نَقِيَّةً مُرْتَفِعَةً  

The Prophet ﷺ prohibited to offer prayer after the afternoon prayer except at the time when the sun is high up in the sky.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلاَّ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “No prayer should be offered after ʿAsr unless the sun is bright and still high.”  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُصَلَّى بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلا أَنْ تَكُونَ الشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءَ مُرْتَفِعَةً  

“Do not pray after ‘Asr unless you pray when the sun is still high.ʿ  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَا تُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُصَلُّوا وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ  

“Do not pray after ‘Asr unless you pray when the sun is still high.” Sufyan said: I do not know whether he meant in Makkah or anywhere close.  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا تُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلا أَنْ تُصَلُّوا وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ فَمَا أَدْرِي بِمَكَّةَ يَعْنِي أَوْ بِغَيْرِهَا  

“Do not pray after ‘Asr unless you pray when the sun is still high.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 1073)  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُصَلُّوا وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ»  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “No prayer should be offered after ʿAsr unless the sun is bright and still high.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 610)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يُصَلَّى *الْعَصْرِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ الشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ»  

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺforbade praying after 'Asr unless the sun was still white, clear and high." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 573)  

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَلَاةٍ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ الشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءَ مُرْتَفِعَةً»  

“Do not pray after ‘Asr unless you pray when the sun is still high.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 1073)  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُصَلُّوا وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not pray after Asr until the sun becomes pure." Shu'bah narrated from Mansur regarding this hadith: "And the sun is high."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُصَلُّوا وَالشَّمْسُ نَقِيَّةٌ وَقَالَ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ  

" عَنْ علِيٍّ قَالَ: نَهَى رسُولُ الله ﷺ عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ العَصْرِ إِلاَّ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ ".  

"لَا تُصَلُّوا بَعْدَ العَصْرِ إلا أَنْ تُصَلُّوا وَالشَّمْسُ بَيضَاءُ مُرْتَفِعَة".
