ahmad:1193 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > al-Zuhrī > Abū ʿUbayd a freed slave of ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿAwf > Thum Shahidtuh Maʿ ʿAlī Faṣallá Qabl > Yakhṭub Bilā Adhān And Lā Iqāmah Thum Khaṭab

Then I was present with ‘Ali. He prayed before delivering the khutbah, with no adhan or iqamah, then he delivered the khutbah. He said: O people, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade eating from your sacrificial animals after three days, so do not eat from them after today.  

أحمد:١١٩٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ

ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُهُ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ فَصَلَّى قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْطُبَ بِلا أَذَانٍ وَلا إِقَامَةٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ نَهَى أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا نُسُكَكُمْ بَعْدَ ثَلاثِ لَيَالٍ فَلا تَأْكُلُوهَا بَعْدُ

فَصَلَّى لَنَا قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَدْ نَهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا لُحُومَ نُسُكِكُمْ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثِ لَيَالٍ فَلاَ تَأْكُلُوا
