The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: None of you must fast on Friday unless he fasts the day before or the day after.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يَصُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَصُومَ قَبْلَهُ بِيَوْمٍ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "None of you should fast on Friday unless he fasts a day before or after it."
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ يَصُومَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلاَّ يَوْمًا قَبْلَهُ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ
None among you should observe fast on Friday, but only that he observes fast before it and after it.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يَصُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَصُومَ قَبْلَهُ أَوْ يَصُومَ بَعْدَهُ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade fasting on a Friday unless it (is joined to) the day before or the day after.”
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلاَّ بِيَوْمٍ قَبْلَهُ أَوْ يَوْمٍ بَعْدَهُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The day of Friday is a day of celebration, so do not make your day of celebration a day of fasting, unless you fast before it or after it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ يَوْمُ عِيدٍ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوا يَوْمَ عِيدِكُمْ يَوْمَ صِيَامٍ إِلَّا أَنْ تَصُومُوا قَبْلَهُ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ

"يَوْمُ الجُمُعَةِ عِيدٌ؛ فَلَا تَجْعَلوا يَوْمَ عِيدِكُمْ يَوْمَ صِيَامِكُمْ إِلا أَنْ تَصُومُوا قَبْلَهُ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ".
"لا يَصُومَنَّ أحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَة إِلا أنْ يَصُومَ يَوْمًا قَبْلَهُ أوْ بَعْدَه".
"لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إلا وَقَبْلَهُ يَوْمٌ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ يَوْمٌ".
