The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not fast on Saturday except what has been made obligatory on you; and if one of you can get nothing but a grape skin or a piece of wood from a tree, he should chew it.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلاَّ فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلاَّ لِحَاءَ عِنَبَةٍ أَوْ عُودَ شَجَرَةٍ فَلْيَمْضُغْهُ
the Messenger of Allah said: "Do not fast on Saturday except for what has been made obligatory upon you (by Allah). If one of you does not find but a grape peal or a tree's twig, then let him chew it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلاَّ فِيمَا افْتَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلاَّ لِحَاءَ عِنَبَةٍ أَوْ عُودَ شَجَرَةٍ فَلْيَمْضُغْهُ
[Machine] Concerning fasting on Saturday, except in obligatory situations, it is said, "If none of you can find anything but the bark of a tree, then let him break his fast with it."
عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِي فَرِيضَةٍ وَقَالَ إِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا لِحَاءَ شَجَرَةٍ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَيْهِ

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا لِحَى شَجَرَةٍ فَلْيَقْضِمْهُ»
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Do not fast on Saturdays, except for what is obligatory upon you. And whoever finds nothing but the peel of a date or grapes, let him chew it."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ صِيَامُهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِلَّا لِحَى أَوْ غَرْسِ عِنَبٍ فَلْيَمْضُغْهُ»
[Machine] She heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Do not fast on Saturday unless it is a day that has been prescribed for you. And if one of you does not find anything except a piece of wood or the bark of a tree, let him chew on it."
أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَّا عُودًا أَوْ لِحَى شَجَرَةٍ فَلْيَمْضُغْهُ»
