It is Allah Who knows best what they would be doing. (Using translation from Muslim 2659b)
It is Allah Who knows best what they would be doing. (Using translation from Muslim 2659b)
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , "Indeed, I see your humility."
[Machine] Narrated Abu Hurairah: The best charity is that which is given while one is self-sufficient, and start with those who depend on you.
[Machine] From Abu Hurairah, when one of you wears shoes, let him start with the right foot. And when he takes off the left one, and if one of your shoelaces breaks, do not walk in one shoe to fix or replace both.
[Machine] "He informed him that a man during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a group and did not mention Abu Tufayl."
[Machine] Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad said, "I do not judge a person as good or bad until I see what results from their actions, meaning after observing their behavior. Someone asked, "And what have you observed?" He replied, "I have heard the Prophet ﷺ saying that the heart of the son of Adam changes more swiftly than the boiling of a pot when anger is present."
[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "We have been commanded to sprinkle dust on the faces of the flatterers." Sufyan once stood up and Al-Miqdad said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Sprinkle dust on the faces of the flatterers.'" Az-Zubair said, "As for Al-Miqdad, he has fulfilled what was required of him."
A man came and praised ‘Uthman in his face, al-Miqdad b. Al-Aswad took dust and threw it on his face, saying : The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said : When you see those who are given to praising people, throw dust in their faces. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4804)
[Machine] The passage translates to: "Muhammad ibn Yusuf ibn Abdullah ibn Salam narrated the hadith of the neighbor."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ named me Yusuf and made me sit in his chamber.
[Machine] Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever strengthens his authority through disobedience to Allah, Allah will weaken his plot on the Day of Judgment."
[Machine] "Abu Rafi' was a loyal servant to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I was a young boy under the care of Abbas ibn Abdul Mutallib when Islam entered our lives. I embraced Islam, and so did Umm Al-Fadl. Abbas had already embraced Islam, but he was afraid of his people, so he kept his faith a secret. Abu Lahab, the enemy of Allah, had abstained from the battle of Badr, and his place was taken by Al-As ibn Hisham ibn Al-Mughirah. This was their practice - whenever a man was absent, they would appoint another man in his place. When the news reached us, Allah suppressed our grief and disappointment, and we found strength within ourselves. The Prophet ﷺ spoke about this matter, which is also mentioned in a book by Yakub al-Mursal, although it lacks a chain of narration. It is mentioned that Salim ibn Awf al-Sahmi was among the captives. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that in Makkah, there is a wise and wealthy merchant, whose son was taken captive; if you pay his ransom, it will be as if you have paid it for me and my companions. The Quraysh told them not to rush with the ransom, as Muhammad and his companions would not be able to fulfill it. Abu Wada'ah ibn Subairah Al-Sahmi said, "You have spoken the truth. Act accordingly." He then sneaked out of his captivity during the night, arrived in Madinah, and took his father's four thousand dirhams. He set out with the ransom and reached Mikraz ibn Hafs ibn Al-Akhyaf in order to pay the ransom for Suhaib ibn Amr. The one who had captivated him was Malik ibn Dud Khan, the brother of Banu Malik ibn Awf."

Messenger of Allah, do not say Amin before me. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 937)
[Machine] Ibn Umar was at his house when someone told him that the Prophet ﷺ had entered the Kaaba. So, he approached and found the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had come out, and he found Bilal standing between the two doors. Ibn Umar asked Bilal, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray in the Kaaba?" Bilal replied, "Yes, he prayed two units of prayer between these two pillars," and he pointed to the two pillars to the left when you enter. Then the Prophet ﷺ came out and prayed two units of prayer facing the Kaaba.
[Machine] Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray when he entered the house? I was not with him, but I entered after he wanted to leave, so I met Bilal and asked him where he prayed. He told me that he prayed between the two pillars, then Muawiya stood up and prayed between them.
[Machine] Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Makkah on the day of the conquest while he was riding on a camel belonging to Usamah bin Zaid. He headed towards the Ka'bah, then he called for Uthman bin Talhah with the key. When he brought it to him, his mother refused to give it to him. So he said, "Either you give it to me or I will draw out the sword from my sheath." So she gave it to him, and he opened the gate and entered. With him were Bilal, Uthman, and Usamah. They circled the Ka'bah and locked the gate after them. Ibn 'Umar said: "I was a young and strong man, so I hurried ahead of the people and surpassed them. I found Bilal standing by the gate, so I asked him, 'Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray?' He said, 'Between the two pillars in front.' I forgot to ask him how many Rak'ahs he prayed."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered the house with Bilal, Usama bin Zaid, and Uthman bin Talha. He commanded Bilal to close the door behind them, and they stayed inside for a while. Then he went out, and when he opened the door, I was the first to enter. I asked Bilal, "Where did the Messenger of Allah pray?" He replied, "Between the two pillars in the front," but I forgot to ask him how many units (rak'ahs) he prayed.
[Machine] About his mother, she used to pray facing both qiblas with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . She said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit eating dates and raisins together, saying, 'Eat each of them separately.'"
[Machine] Regarding him, indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to level the graves.
[Machine] That Abu Ali is similar to Amr ibn Malik al-Janbi
[Machine] We entered upon a man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ and said to him, "Tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and do not tell us what you heard from people." They said, "He said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and said: 'I warn you against the Antichrist, I warn you against the Antichrist, he is a man with one eye, his eye is wiped (or greenish). Ibn 'Awn said: I think he said: 'The Antichrist will stay on earth for forty mornings, with mountains of bread and rivers of water, and his authority will reach every spring. He will not enter four mosques: he mentioned the Sacred Mosque, Al-Aqsa Mosque, Tur, and Al-Madinah, except for what is destined for him by Allah.' So know that Allah is not one-eyed, Allah is not one-eyed, Allah is not one-eyed.' Ibn 'Awn said: And I think in his narration he said: 'He will have control over a man from among the people, he will kill him and then revive him, but he will not have control over anyone else."
[Machine] We came to a man from the Ansar, from the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so we entered upon him and said, "Tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and do not tell us what you heard from people." So we insisted on him, and he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and said, 'I warned you about the false messiah, and he is one-eyed. I think he said that the right eye is like a floating grape and his sign will be that he will stay on earth for forty mornings, and his authority will extend to every water source. He cannot enter four mosques: the Kaaba, the Mosque of the Prophet, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Mount Sinai. No matter what happens, know that Allah is not blind.' Ibn Awun said, 'And I think he said that he will be given control over a man and he will kill him, then bring him back to life, and he will not be given control over anyone else.'"

[Machine] "A man called Hurayth was sent to him, and when he arrived, he said, 'O nephew! Make room for him between you and me, as he has accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' So he came and sat between me and him. Hurayth said to him, 'Tell me the hadith that you narrated to me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' The sheikh said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Verily, Allah creates the clouds and makes them speak with the most articulate speech and laugh with the best laughter.'"

[Machine] "Muhayyisah asked the Prophet ﷺ about earning money as a cupper. He forbade her from it, but she continued talking to him about it until he said, 'Employ him and give him provisions.'
The she-camel of Bara' ibn Azib entered the garden of a man and did damage to it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave decision that the owners of properties are responsible for guarding them by day, and the owners of animals are responsible for guarding them by night. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3569)
[Machine] Did you find anything except a free face? I have seen myself, and we are the seventh of seven sons of Muqarrin. We have only one servant whom one of us has appointed, and he slapped him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us that when we return, we should set him free, so we set him free.
[Machine] "Do you know where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed from your mosque here?" So I said, "Yes," and I pointed him in a certain direction. He said, "Do you know what are the three things he supplicated for in it?" So I said, "Yes." He said, "Then inform me of them." So I said, "He supplicated that their enemies should not be able to triumph over them besides themselves, and that they should not be destroyed by famine for years, so He granted them that. And he supplicated that their mutual enmity should not cause mutual harm between them. This is what prevented me from giving you information." He said, "You have spoken the truth. The mischief caused by the war will continue until the Day of Resurrection."

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , returned from the Battle of Tabuk, a caller ordered and announced that the Messenger of Allah had taken control of the Aqaba pass and that no one should take it. While the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , was leading them, Hudhayfah was driving and 'Ammar was accompanying them. Suddenly, a group of masked men appeared on the coasts and attacked 'Ammar while he was driving the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ . 'Ammar fought back and struck the faces of the attackers. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to Hudhayfah, "Go and see who they are." Hudhayfah replied that he recognized most of them and that they were masked. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , asked, "Do you know what they wanted?" Hudhayfah replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "They wanted to rid themselves of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and throw him off the cliff." 'Ammar then asked one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and said, "I swear by Allah, how many companions were there at the Aqaba pass?" The companion replied, "Fourteen." 'Ammar said, "If you were among them, then there were fifteen." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , pardoned three of them. They said, "By Allah, we did not hear the caller of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and we did not know what the people intended." 'Ammar testified that the remaining twelve were fighters for the cause of Allah and His Messenger in this worldly life and on the Day of Judgment. Al-Walid (the narrator) mentioned that Abu Tufayl mentioned that during that battle, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , ordered the people not to approach the water before him. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , called out and announced that no one should drink the water before him. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , arrived at the water and found a group of people who had already drunk from it before him. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , cursed them on that day.

[Machine] Abu Tufayl mentioned the construction of the Kaaba during the pre-Islamic era. He said that the Quraysh destroyed it and began rebuilding it with stones from the valley, which the Quraysh carried on their backs. They lifted it up into the sky twenty cubits high. While the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was carrying stones from Ajyad with Tamimah on his back, Tamimah became too tight and he placed it on his shoulder, revealing his private parts due to the smallness of Tamimah. He was called out, "O Muhammad, cover your private parts!" and after that he was not seen naked.

Then he noticed that my nails were long, so he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'One of you asks about the news of the sky while his nails are like bird's claws, gathering impurity, filth, and spittle.' " It was not Al-Ansari who said that, but rather Abu Ayyub Al-'Atki. Abu Abdur-Rahman narrated that his father's tongue was faster than his meaning, which implies that it was Waki' who said that. I narrated that I met Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari, and he is actually Abu Ayyub Al-'Atki.

So he turned away from him or remained silent, then he turned back and he said, "By emigration." He said, "O Prophet of Allah, I swear by Allah, they have died or were on the verge of death." He said, "Bring them." So they came. He said, "Bring a cup or a dish." He said to one of them, "Vomit." So she vomited pus, blood, and solid pieces of flesh until she filled half a cup. Then he said to the other, "Vomit." So she vomited pus, blood, solid pieces of flesh, and mucus until she filled the cup. Then he said, "Indeed, these two were fasting from what Allah made permissible for them, and they broke their fast with what Allah forbade them from. One of them was sitting next to the other and they started eating the flesh of people." Sulaiman Ibn Dawud narrated to us, who narrated to us Shu'bah from At-Taymi, who said that a man came to us in the gathering of Abu Uthman Al-Nahdi and he narrated from Ubaid the slave of the Prophet ﷺ .
