[Machine] Regarding him, indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to level the graves.  

أحمد:٢٣٩٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ إِلَى أَرْضِ الرُّومِ وَكَانَ عَامِلًا لِمُعَاوِيَةَ عَلَى الدَّرْبِ فَأُصِيبَ ابْنُ عَمٍّ لَنَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ فَضَالَةُ وَقَامَ عَلَى حُفْرَتِهِ حَتَّى وَارَاهُ فَلَمَّا سَوَّيْنَا عَلَيْهِ حُفْرَتَهُ قَالَ أَخِفُّوا

عَنْهُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا بِتَسْوِيَةِ الْقُبُورِ

"We were with Fadalah bin 'Ubaid in the land of the Romans, and a companion of ours died. Fadalah ordered that his grave be made level, then he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah commanding that it be made level."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2030)

خَفِّفُوا عَنْهُ التُّرَابَ؛ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا بِتَسْوِيَةِ الْقُبُورِ
