أَبُو نُعَيم في فضائل الصحابة عن عائشة، وفيه علي بن صالح الأَنماط قال الذهبي في المغني يروى حديثًا موضوعًا، وأَوْردَ في الميزان هذا الحديث في ترجمته، وقال: باطل، وعلي بن صالح لا يعرف، وَهُو المتهم بوضْعِه، فإِنَّ الرُّوَاةَ ثِقَاتٌ سِوَاه، وقَال الحافظ بن حجر في اللسان: علي بن صالح ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات، وقال: روى عنه أَهل العراق، وهو مستقيم الحديث، قال فَينْبَغِي التَّثبُّتُ فِي الذين يُضَعِّفهُمُ الذهبي من قِبله
