"We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'I do not know how long I will be with you, so stick to the two after me,' and he signaled towards Abu Bakr and 'Umar."

كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي لاَ أَدْرِي مَا بَقَائِي فِيكُمْ فَاقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي وَأَشَارَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I do not know how long I will stay among you, so follow the example of these two after I am gone,' and he pointed to Abu Bakr and ʿUmar."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنِّي لاَ أَدْرِي قَدْرَ بَقَائِي فِيكُمْ فَاقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي وَأَشَارَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said: Follow the path of those who come after me, Abu Bakr and Umar."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِيأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ

كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ جُلُوسًا فَقَالَ إِنِّي لَا أَدْرِي مَا قَدْرُ بَقَائِي فِيكُمْ فَاقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي وَأَشَارَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِعَهْدِ عَمَّارٍ وَمَا حَدَّثَكُمْ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَصَدِّقُوهُ

[AI] While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "Verily, I do not know how long I will remain with you, so follow those who come after me. Point towards Abu Bakr and Umar, and guide according to the guidance of Ammar and the pledge of Ibn Umm Abd."

بَيْنَا نَحْنُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ أَدْرِي مَا قَدْرُ بَقَائِي فِيكُمْ فَاقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي يُشِيرُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَاهْدُوا هَدْيَ عَمَّارٍ وَعَهْدَ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Follow those who come after me: Abu Bakr and Umar, and seek guidance from the path of Ammar, and hold fast to the covenant of the son of the mother of Abdullah." Sahih.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَاهْتَدُوا بِهَدْي عَمَّارٍ وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِعَهْدِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ» صحيح

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Follow the footsteps of those who come after me, Abu Bakr and Umar, and seek guidance from the teachings of Ammar, and hold tight to the covenant of Ibn Umm Abd."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَاهْتَدُوا بِهَدْيِ عَمَّارٍ وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِعَهْدِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Follow those after me, Abu Bakr and Umar, and seek guidance from the teachings of Ammar. And when Ibn Umm Abd speaks to you, believe him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَاهْتَدُوا بِهَدْيِ عَمَّارٍ وَإِذَا حَدَّثَكُمُ ابْنُ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ فَصَدِّقُوهُ»

[AI] The messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Follow the footsteps of those who come after me; Abu Bakr and Umar."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَقَدْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "Follow the path of those who come after me, Abu Bakr and Umar, and seek guidance from the teachings of Ammar, and hold fast to the covenant of Ibn Masood."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَاهْتَدُوا بِهَدْيِ عَمَّارٍ وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِعَهْدِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ» سنده واه

[AI] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said: "I do not see my stay among you to be long, so follow those who come after me. He pointed towards Abu Bakr and Umar and said: "Adhere to the guidance of Ammar, and what Ibn Mas'ood has taught you, accept it."

كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنِّي لَا أَرَى بَقَائِي فِيكُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا فَاقْتَدُوا بِالَّذِينَ مِنْ بَعْدِي وَأَشَارَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَاهْتَدُوا بِهَدْيِ عَمَّارٍ وَمَا حَدَّثَكُمُ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَاقْبَلُوهُ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Follow in the footsteps of those who come after me, Abu Bakr and Umar, and take guidance from Ammar, and hold onto the covenant of Abdullah ibn Masood."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَاهْدُوا هَدْيَ عَمَّارٍ وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِعَهْدِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Follow those who come after me, Abu Bakr and Umar."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Follow the example of those who came after me, Abu Bakr and Umar, and seek guidance from the guidance of Ammar. And hold tight to the covenant of Ibn Umm Abd.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَاهْتَدُوا بِهَدْيِ عَمَّارٍ وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِعَهْدِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ

[AI] "Follow those who come after me, meaning Abu Bakr and Umar."

اللهِ ﷺ اقْتَدُوا بِالَّلذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي يَعْنِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ

"اقْتَدُوا باللَّذَينِ مِن بَعْدِى: أَبى بَكرٍ وعُمَر" .

"اقْتَدُوا باللَّذَينِ مِن بَعْدِى: أبي بَكْرٍ، وعمر، واهْتَدُوا بهَدْى عمَار، وتَمَسَّكُوا بِعَهْدِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ".

"إِنِّى لا أَدرى ما قَدْرُ بقائى فيكم، فاقتدوا بالَّلذين منْ بَعْدى أَبى بكرٍ وعمر وتمسكُوا بهدْى عمَّار وما حدَّثكُمْ ابنُ مسْعُود فصدقوه" .

"أَئِمَةُ الخِلافَةِ مِنْ بَعْدِى أَبُو بَكْر وعُمَرُ".
