That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Wearing silk and gold has made unlawful for the males of my Ummah and lawful for its females.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ حُرِّمَ لِبَاسُ الْحَرِيرِ وَالذَّهَبِ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي وَأُحِلَّ لإِنَاثِهِمْ

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Gold and silk have been permitted for the females of my Ummah, and forbidden to the males."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أُحِلَّ الذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ لإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Allah has permitted silk and gold to the females of my Ummah, and has forbidden them to the males."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ أَحَلَّ لإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي الْحَرِيرَ وَالذَّهَبَ وَحَرَّمَهُ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of some silk in his left hand and some gold in his right, then he raised his hands and said: ‘These two are forbidden for the males of my nation, and permitted to the females.’”

سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَقُولُ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَرِيرًا بِشِمَالِهِ وَذَهَبًا بِيَمِينِهِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ بِهِمَا يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي حِلٌّ لإِنَاثِهِمْ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us, and in one of his hands was a garment of silk and in the other was some gold. He said: ‘These are forbidden to the males of my nation and permitted to the females.’”

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَفِي إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ وَفِي الأُخْرَى ذَهَبٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي حِلٌّ لإِنَاثِهِمْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised silk with his right hand and gold with his left hand and said, "It is permissible for the women of my Ummah (community) and prohibited for its men."

رَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَرِيرًا بِيَمِينِهِ وَذَهَبًا بِشِمَالِهِ فَقَالَ أُحِلَّ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Gold and silk have been permitted for the females of my Ummah, and forbidden to the males." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5148)

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wearing silk and gold is permissible for the women of my Ummah (community), while it is prohibited for its men."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أُحِلَّ لُبْسُ الْحَرِيرِ وَالذَّهَبِ لِنِسَاءِ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Gold and silk have been permitted for the females of my Ummah, and forbidden to the males." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5148)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ حِلٌّ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي وَحَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ took in his hand a piece of gold and a piece of silk and said, "Verily, these two are forbidden for the males of my Ummah and permissible for their females."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَخْرَجَ فِي يَدِهِ قِطْعَةً مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَقِطْعَةً مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ حُرِّمَا عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي وَحَلَّا لِإِنَاثِهِمْ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ held gold and silk in his hand, moving them and saying, "This is forbidden for the males of my Ummah."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَبَضَ عَلَى الذَّهَبِ وَالْحَرِيرِ وَهُوَ يُحَرِّكُهُ وَيَقُولُ «هَذَا يَحْرُمُ عَلَى الذُّكُورِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us with gold in one hand and silk in the other hand and said, "These two things are forbidden for the males of my Ummah but permissible for its females."

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَفِي إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ ذَهَبٌ وَفِي الْأُخْرَى حَرِيرٌ فَقَالَ «هَذَانِ حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي حِلٌّ لِإِنَاثِهَا»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Gold and silk are permissible for the women of my Ummah (community), but forbidden for the men of my Ummah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ حِلٌّ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي»

[AI] "Indeed, these two things are forbidden for the males of my nation."

«إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي»

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Allah has permitted silk and gold to the females of my Ummah, and has forbidden them to the males." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5265)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ أَحَلَّ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي الْحَرِيرَ وَالذَّهَبَ وَحَرَّمَهُ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا»

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Gold and silk have been permitted for the females of my Ummah, and forbidden to the males." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5148)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أُحِلَّ الذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Gold and silk are permissible for the females of my Ummah (community) and forbidden for its males." This was narrated by Uqbah ibn Amer Al-Juhani and Abdullah ibn Amr from the Prophet ﷺ.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أُحِلَّ الذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا وَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُحِلَّ الذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا

"أحِلَّ الذهبُ والحرير لإناث أمَتِّى وحُرِّمَ على ذُكُورِهَا".

"إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ أحَلَّ لإِنَاث أُمَّتي الحرير والذَّهَبَ، وَحَرَّمَه عَلى ذُكُورِهَا".

"إِنَّ هذْيِن حُرِّمَا عَلَى ذكُوِر أُمَّتى وحُلِّلَا لإِناثِهمْ ".

"الْحَرِيرُ والذَّهَبُ حَرَامٌ على ذكورِ أُمَّتِي وَحِلُّ لإِنَاثِهم".

"الذَّهَبُ والحريرُ حِلُّ لأناثِ أُمَّتِي، وحَرامٌ عَلَى ذكورها".

"حُرِّمَ لِبَاسُ الْحَرِيرِ وَالذَّهَب عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتى، وَأُحِلَّ لإِنَاثِهمْ".

"عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ: خَرجً عَلينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَفِى يَدِهِ صُرَّتَانِ إِحْدَاهُمَا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَالأُخْرَى مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فَقَالَ: هَذَانِ حَرَامَانِ عَلَى الذُّكُورِ مِنْ أُمَّتِى حَلَالٌ لِلإنَاثِ".
