The Prophet ﷺ said, "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: 'Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta. Khalaqtani wa ana ʿAbduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa Wa'dika mastata'tu abu'u Laka bi ni 'matika wa abu'u Laka bidhanbi; faghfirli fa'innahu la yaghfiru-dh-dhunuba ill a ant a. A'uidhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu.' If somebody recites this invocation during the night, and if he should die then, he will go to Paradise (or he will be from the people of Paradise). And if he recites it in the morning, and if he should die on the same day, he will have the same fate."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ سَيِّدُ الاِسْتِغْفَارِ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ إِذَا قَالَ حِينَ يُمْسِي فَمَاتَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ أَوْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِذَا قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ مِثْلَهُ

from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "The master dua for seeking forgiveness is that you say:

allāhumma anta rabbī lā ilāha illā anta, khalaqtanī wa-anā ʿabduk, wa-anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa-waʿdika mā istaṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abūʾu laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayya, wa-abūʾu laka bi-dhanbī, fa-ghfir lī, fa-innahū lā yaghfiru al-dhunūba illā anta

(O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god except You. You created me, and I am Your servant, and I remain upon Your covenant and promise as best as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge to You Your favor upon me, and I confess to You my sin; so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.)"

He said: "Whoever says it during the day, certain of it, then dies that day before evening, he is among the people of Paradise. And whoever says it at night while certain of it, then dies before morning, he is among the people of Paradise."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ: «سَيِّدُ الاِسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ تَقُولَ:

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ؛ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ؛ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي؛ فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ»،

قَالَ: «وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ النَّهَارِ مُوقِنًا بِهَا فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهْوَ مُوقِنٌ بِهَا فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ فَهْوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ».

The Prophet [SAW] said: "The best of prayers for forgiveness is for a person to say: 'Allahumma, anta rabbi, la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abuw'u laka bidhanbi, wa abuw'u laka bini'matika 'alayya faghfirli, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta (O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You have created me and I am Your slave and I am keeping my promise and covenant to You as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I do. I acknowledge Your blessing and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for there is none who can forgive sin except You.)' If he says this in the morning, believing in it firmly, and dies on that day before evening comes, he will enter Paradise, and if he says it in the evening, believing firmly in it, and dies before morning comes, he will enter Paradise." Al-Walid bin Tha'labah contradicted him.

from the Prophet ﷺ who said: "If anyone says in the morning or in the evening: 'O Allah! You are my Lord; there is no god except You, You have created me, and I am Your servant and I hold on to Your covenant and promise as much as I can; I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done: I acknowledge Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So pardon me, for none but You pardons sins,' and he dies during the daytime or during the night, he will enter Paradise."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ أَوْ حِينَ يُمْسِي: (اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ) فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ أَوْ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ۔»

his father said: "The Messenger of Allah (saas) said: Allahumma Anta Rabbi la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu. A'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u bi ni'matika wa abu'u bi dhanbi faghfirli, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta (O Allah, You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship except You. You have created me and I am Your slave, and I am adhering to Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I do. I acknowledge Your blessing and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for there is none who can forgive sin except You)."He said: "The Messenger of Allah (saas) said: 'Whoever says this by day and by night, if he dies that day or that night, he will enter Paradise if Allah wills."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ سَيِّدُ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ تَقُولَ اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَعَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ وَأَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَإِنْ قَالَ بَعْدَمَا يُمْسِي فَمَاتَ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنْ قَالَهَا بَعْدَ مَا يُصْبِحُ فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone says in the morning or in the evening: "O Allah! Thou art my Lord; there is no god but Thee, Thou hast created me, and I am Thy servant and hold to Thy covenant and promise as much as I can; I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what I have done: I acknowledge Thy favour to me, and I acknowledge my sin; pardon me, for none but Thee pardons sins, and dies during the daytime or during the night." he will go to Paradise. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I not inform you of the greatest form of seeking forgiveness?" They said, "Certainly, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "O Allah, there is no god but You. You created me, and I am Your servant, and I am holding to Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favors and I confess my sins. So forgive me, for no one can forgive sins except You. Whoever says this when evening comes and then dies in his sleep, will enter Paradise, and whoever says it when morning comes and then dies in his sleep, will enter Paradise."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِسَيِّدِ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ؟» قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَعَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذُنُوبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ لَا يَقُولُهَا أَحَدٌ حِينَ يُمْسِي فَيَمُوتُ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهِ إِلَّا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَلَا يَقُولُهَا أَحَدٌ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ فَيَأْتِيهِ الْمَوْتُ إِلَّا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Shall I not guide you to the best of forgiveness?" He said, "O Allah, You are my Lord; You created me, and I am Your servant, and I am steadfast to my covenant and promise to You as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sins. So forgive me, for none can forgive sins except You. No servant says this supplication and it reaches his Lord on that day, before the evening or morning, except that he will be among the people of Paradise, if Allah wills."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى سَيِّدِ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ؟ أَنْ تَقُولَ «اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ إِلَهِي أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذُنُوبِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَقُولُهَا فَيَأْتِيهِ قَدَرُهُ فِي يَوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ أَوْ فِي مَسَائِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ إِلَّا كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ»

The Prophet [SAW] said: "The best of prayers for forgiveness is for a person to say: 'Allahumma, anta rabbi, la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abuw'u laka bidhanbi, wa abuw'u laka bini'matika 'alayya faghfirli, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta (O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You have created me and I am Your slave and I am keeping my promise and covenant to You as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I do. I acknowledge Your blessing and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for there is none who can forgive sin except You.)' If he says this in the morning, believing in it firmly, and dies on that day before evening comes, he will enter Paradise, and if he says it in the evening, believing firmly in it, and dies before morning comes, he will enter Paradise." Al-Walid bin Tha'labah contradicted him. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5522)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ سَيِّدَ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ يَقُولَ الْعَبْدُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ أَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ وَأَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي اغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَإِنْ قَالَهَا حِينَ يُصْبِحُ مُوقِنًا بِهَا فَمَاتَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنْ قَالَهَا حِينَ يُمْسِي مُوقِنًا بِهَا فَمَاتَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ خَالَفَهُ ثَابِتُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ

[Machine] Narrated by Bashir, who heard it from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , who said, "Whoever says in the morning, 'O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god except You, You created me and I am Your servant, I am on your covenant and promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favors upon me and confess my sins to You. So forgive me, for no one forgives sins except You. If a person dies on that day, they will enter Paradise. And if a person dies during the night, it will be the same." Walid ibn Tha'labah disagreed with this statement.

حَدِّثْنَا بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعَتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَإِنْ مَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنْ مَاتَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَكَذَلِكَ [175] خَالَفَهُ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ وَحِينَ يُمْسِي اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِالنِّعْمَةِ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَإِنْ قَالَهَا مُصْبِحًا فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ غُفِرَ لَهُ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنْ قَالَهَا مُمْسِيًا فَمَاتَ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهِ غُفِرَ لَهُ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ

The Prophet ﷺ said "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: 'Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ʿAbduka, wa ana ʿala ʿahdika wa waʿdika mastataʿtu, Aʿudhu bika min Sharri ma sanaʿtu, abu'u Laka biniʿmatika ʿalaiya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir lee fa innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta." The Prophet ﷺ added. "If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise." أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَيِّدُ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ يَقُولَ الْعَبْدُ اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَعَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَإِنْ قَالَهَا بَعْدَمَا يُصْبِحُ مُوقِنًا فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ كَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَإنْ قَالَهَا حِينَ يُمْسِي فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ كَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَالَفَهُ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ رَوَاهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone says in the morning or in the evening: "O Allah! Thou art my Lord; there is no god but Thee, Thou hast created me, and I am Thy servant and hold to Thy covenant and promise as much as I can; I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what I have done: I acknowledge Thy favour to me, and I acknowledge my sin; pardon me, for none but Thee pardons sins, and dies during the daytime or during the night." he will go to Paradise. "مَنْ قَال حِينَ يُصْبِحُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ: اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمدُ، لا إِلهَ إِلا أَنْتَ، أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، آمَنْتُ بِكَ مُخْلِصًا لَكَ دِيني، أَصْبَحْتُ عَلى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ إِلَيكَ مِنْ سَيِّيء عَمَلِي، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذُنُوبِي الَّتِي لا يَغْفِرُهَا إِلا أَنْتَ، فَإِنْ مَاتَ في ذَلكَ الْيَوْم، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَإِنْ قَال حِينَ يُمْسى ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، فَمَاتَ في تِلْكَ اللَّيلَةِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ".

"أَلا أدُلُّكَ عَلَى سَيِّدِ الاسْتِغْفَارِ؟ اللَّهُمَّ أنْتَ ربِّى لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خلَقْتَنِى وَأنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأنَا عَلَى عَهْدِك وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أعُوذُ بكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ وَأبُوءُ لَكَ بنِعْمَتِكَ عَلىَّ، وَأعْتَرِفُ بدنُوبِى فَاغْفِرْ لى ذُنُوبى، إنَّهُ لا يَغفرُ الذنوب إِلَّا أنْتَ، لَا يَقُولُهَا أحَدُكُمْ حينَ يُمْسى فَيَأتى علَيْه قَدَرٌ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبحَ إِلَّا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الجنَةُ، وَلَا يَقُولُهَا حِينَ يُصْبحُ فَيَأتِى علَيْهِ قَدَرٌ قَبْلَ أنْ يُمْسِى إِلَّا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ ".

"تَعَلَّمُوا سَيِّدَ الاسْتِغْفَارِ؛ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّى، لَا إِلَهَ إلا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِى، وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بنعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بذنْبى، فاغْفِرْ لي ذَنبي؛ إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إلا أَنْتَ".

"سيِّدُ الاسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ تَقُول: اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّى، لَا إِلَه إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وأَنَا عبْدُكَ، وأَنَا علَى عهْدكِ ووعْدِكَ ما اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بكَ من شَرِّ ما صنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بنْعْمتِكَ علَىَّ، وأَبوءُ لَك بِذَنْبِى فَاغْفِر لِى، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يغْفِرُ الذُنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، من قَالَهَا مِنَ النَّهَارِ مُوقِنًا فَماتَ منْ يوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَن يمْسِىَ فَهو في الْجنَة، ومن قَالَهَا وهو مُوقِقٌ بِهَا فَماتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ فَهُو مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ".

"مَنْ قَال هَؤُلاءِ الْكَلمَاتِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ سَبْعَ مَرَّات فَمَاتَ في ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ قَالهَا في لَيلَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَمَاتَ في تِلْكَ اللَّيلَةِ، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّة، مَنْ قَال: اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلهَ إِلا أنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُك وَابْن أَمَتِكَ وَفِي قَبْضَتِكَ، نَاصِيتي بِيَدِكَ، أَمْسَيتُ عَلى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِن شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لي ذُنُوبِي، إِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلا أَنْتَ".

"مَنْ قَال حِينَ يُصْبِحُ، أَوْ حِينَ يُمْسِي: اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ ربِّي لا إِلهَ إِلا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ ما اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنْعتُ، أَبُوءُ بِنعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وأَبُوءُ بِذنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لي، فَإِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُنُوبَ إِلا أَنْتَ، فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ أَوْ مِنْ لَيلَتِهِ، دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ".

"مَنْ قَال إِذَا أَصْبَحَ: اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ ربِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ ما اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغفِرْ لي، إِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلا أَنْتَ، فَإِنْ قَالهَا نَهَارًا فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ ذَلِكَ مَاتَ شَهِيدًا، وَإِنْ قَالهَا لَيلًا فَمَاتَ مِنْ لَيلَتِهِ تِلكَ مَاتَ شَهِيدًا".
