"مَنْ قَال: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلا إِلهَ إِلا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا باللهِ، قَال اللهُ: أَسْلَمَ عَبْدِي وَاسْتَسْلَمَ".

"A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'I cannot learn anything of the Quran; teach me something that I can say instead of reciting the Quran.' He said: 'Say: SubhanAllah, wal-hamdulilah, wa la illaha ill-Allah, wa Allahu Akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa Billahil-aliy al-azim (Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is none worthy of worship except Allah, Allah is Most Great, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah the Exalted and Magnificent ).'"
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي لاَ أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ آخُذَ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ فَعَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا يُجْزِئْنِي مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ فَقَالَ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ
Yahya related to me from Malik that Umara ibn Sayyad had heard Said ibn al Musayyab say about abiding good deeds that they were a slave's saying 'Allah is greater' (Allahu akbar) and 'Glory be to Allah' (Subahana'llah) and 'Praise be to Allah' (al-hamdu lillah) and 'There is no god but Allah and there is no power and no strength except by Allah.' (La ilaha illa'llah wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa bi'llah.)
يَقُولُ فِي الْبَاقِيَاتِ الصَّالِحَاتِ إِنَّهَا قَوْلُ الْعَبْدِ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ
the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “there is not anyone upon the earth who says: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might nor power except by Allah, (Lā ilāha illallāh, wa Allāhu akbar, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh) except that his sins shall be pardoned, even if they were like the foam of the sea.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3460)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ رَجُلٌ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ إِلَّا كُفِّرَتْ عَنْهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَلَوْ كَانَتْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ
[Machine] I heard the messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest, all praise is due to Allah, and glory be to Allah, and there is no power or strength except with Allah', his sins will be forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِوَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ كُفِّرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَسْلَمَ عَبْدِي وَاسْتَسْلَمَ

The uttering of (these words):" Hallowed be Allah; all praise is due to Allah, there is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises. (Using translation from Muslim 2695)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: "The most beloved speech to Allah is four words: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest)."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَرْبَعٌ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ»
ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الْمُصَلِّي فِي قِيَامِهِ عِنْدَ عَدَمِ قِرَاءَةِ فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ
[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, teach me something that will suffice me from the Qur'an?" He said, "Say: Glory be to Allah, All praise is due to Allah, There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest." Sufyan said, "I think he also said: There is no power or strength except with Allah."
يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا يُجْزِئُنِي عَنِ الْقُرْآنِ؟ قَالَ «قُلْ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ أُرَاهُ قَالَ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ»
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ مِنْ أَحَبِّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَحَبُّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ
[Machine] Narrated by Abu Salamah, the shepherd of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Light, light, how heavy they are in the balance, there is no god but Allah, and glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and Allah is the greatest, and the righteous slave is taken by death and is rewarded for it."
عَنْ أَبِي سَلْمَى رَاعِي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ بَخٍ بَخٍ مَا أَثْقَلَهُنَّ فِي الْمِيزَانِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَالْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ يُتَوَفَّى لِلْمُسْلِمِ فَيَحْتَسِبُهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most beloved words to Allah are four: SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah), and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)." Suhaib Ibn Abi Saleh disagreed with him.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَحَبُّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللهِ أَرْبَعٌ لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ خَالَفَهُ سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ
the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)." [Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "The most beloved words to Allah are four: Subhanallah (glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah), and Allahu akbar (Allah is the greatest). And it does not harm you to begin with any of them. Salamah ibn Kuhail disagreed with him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللهِ أَرْبَعٌ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ خَالَفَهُ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ
"تدْرُونَ مَا البَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ؟ سُبحَانَ اللهِ، وَالحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلَا إِله إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أكبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا باللهِ".
"مَاسَبَّحْتُ وَلَا سَبَّحَتِ الأَنْبيَاءُ قَبْلى بِأفْضَلَ مِن سُبْحَانَ اللهِ،
وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلا إلهَ إلا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ".
"مَا عَلَى الأرض رَجُلٌ يَقُولُ: لَا إِلَه إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أكْبَرُ، وَسُبحَانَ اللهِ، وَالحَمْد للهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ العَلِيِّ العَظِيم، إِلَّا كَفَّرَت عَنْه ذُنُوبَه، وَلَوْ كَانتْ أكْثَر مِن زَبَدِ البَحرِ (*) ".

"أفْضلُ الكلام: سبحانَ الله، والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله، والله أكبر" .
"قلْ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلَا إِلهَ إِلَّا الله، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ، فَإِنَّهُنَّ الْبَاقيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ، وَهُن يَحْطُطْنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا تَحُطُّ الشَّجَرَةُ وَرَقَهَا، وَهُنَّ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ".
"عَلَيكمْ بِهَذِهِ الْخَمس: سُبْحَان الله، والْحَمَد للهِ، ولا إِلَهَ إلَّا اللهُ، واللهُ أَكْبَرُ، ولا حَوْلَ ولا قُوَّة إلا باللهِ".
"يَا أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ: قُلْ سُبْحَانَ الله، وَالْحَمْدُ لله، وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ الله، وَالله أَكْبَرُ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِالله، إِنَّهُنَّ الْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ، وَهُنَّ يَحْطُطْنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا تَحُطُّ الشَّجَرَةُ وَرَقَهَا، وَهِيَ كُنُوزُ الْجَنَّةِ".
