The uttering of (these words):" Hallowed be Allah; all praise is due to Allah, there is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises.  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لأَنْ أَقُولَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ  

“That I should say: ‘Glory is to Allah (Subḥān Allāh).’ ‘All praise is due to Allah (Al-ḥamdulillāh),’ ‘None has the right to be worshipped by Allah (Lā ilāha illallāh),’ and ‘Allah is the greatest (Allāhu akbar)’ is more beloved to me than all that the sun has risen over.”  

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لأَنْ أَقُولَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ  

the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَرْبَعٌ أَفْضَلُ الْكَلاَمِ لاَ يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ  

Yahya related to me from Malik that Umara ibn Sayyad had heard Said ibn al Musayyab say about abiding good deeds that they were a slave's saying 'Allah is greater' (Allahu akbar) and 'Glory be to Allah' (Subahana'llah) and 'Praise be to Allah' (al-hamdu lillah) and 'There is no god but Allah and there is no power and no strength except by Allah.' (La ilaha illa'llah wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa bi'llah.)  

يَقُولُ فِي الْبَاقِيَاتِ الصَّالِحَاتِ إِنَّهَا قَوْلُ الْعَبْدِ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ  

the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3811)   

عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَفْضَلُ الْكَلَامِ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ  

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said "The dearest phrases to Allah are four: Subhan Allah (Hallowed be Allah), Al-Hamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illa-Allah (There is no deity but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greater). There is no harm for you in which of them begin with (while remembering Allah). And do not give these names to your servants: Yasar and Rabah and Najih and Aflah. (Using translation from Muslim 2137a)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَحَبُّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللهِ أَرْبَعٌ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ لَا تُسَمِّيَنَّ غُلَامَكَ يَسَارًا وَلَا رَبَاحًا وَلَا نَجِيحًا وَلَا أَفْلَحَ فَإِنَّكَ تَقُولُ أَثَمَّ هُوَ فَلَا يَكُونُ فَيَقُولُ لَا إِنَّمَا هُنَّ أَرْبَعٌلَا تَزِيدُنَّ عَلَيَّ  

the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)." قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَفْضَلُ الْكَلَامِ بَعْدَ الْقُرْآنِ وَهُو مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ أَرْبَعٌ لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are five phrases that are blessed: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (All praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest), and a righteous child who dies and the parent remains patient and hopes for reward from Allah."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَمْسٌ بَخٍ بَخٍ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَالْوَلَدُ الصَّالِحُ يَمُوتُ لِلرَّجُلِ فَيَحْتَسِبُهُ  

[Machine] Four phrases that can be said by someone in a state of ritual impurity (junub) or menstruation (haidh): "SubhanAllah" (Glory be to Allah), "Alhamdulillah" (All praise is due to Allah), "La ilaha illallah" (There is no deity but Allah), and "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the Greatest).  

أَرْبَعٌ لَا يَحْرُمْنَ عَلَى جُنُبٍ وَلَا حَائِضٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ  

[Machine] He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying: Whoever says "Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (All praise be to Allah), La ilaha illa Allah (There is no god except Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), and there is no power or strength except with Allah," Allah says: "My servant has submitted and surrendered."  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَسْلَمَ عَبْدِي وَاسْتَسْلَمَ  

The uttering of (these words):" Hallowed be Allah; all praise is due to Allah, there is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises. (Using translation from Muslim 2695)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَأَنْ أَقُولَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: "The most beloved speech to Allah is four words: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest)."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَرْبَعٌ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ»  

the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)." the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)." قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَفْضَلُ الْكَلَامِ أَرْبَعٌ لَا تُبَالِي بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ»  

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, teach me something that will suffice me from the Qur'an?" He said, "Say: Glory be to Allah, All praise is due to Allah, There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest." Sufyan said, "I think he also said: There is no power or strength except with Allah."  

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا يُجْزِئُنِي عَنِ الْقُرْآنِ؟ قَالَ «قُلْ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ أُرَاهُ قَالَ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ»  

the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)." قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُ الْكَلَامِ أَرْبَعٌ لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ»  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, in Paradise there are gardens, so increase in planting them." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is their planting?" He said, "SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah), and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قِيعَانًا فَأَكْثِرُوا غَرْسَهَا» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا غَرْسُهَا؟ قَالَ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most beloved words to Allah are four: There is no god but Allah, Allah is the Greatest, Subhan Allah, and Alhamdulillah. It does not harm you which one of them you begin with."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَحَبُّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ أَرْبَعٌ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ  

the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)." [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most beloved words to Allah are four: SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah), and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)." Suhaib Ibn Abi Saleh disagreed with him.  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَحَبُّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللهِ أَرْبَعٌ لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ خَالَفَهُ سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ  

the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3811)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَحَبُّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللهِ أَرْبَعٌ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ خَالَفَهُ جَرِيرٌ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "The most beloved words to Allah are four: Subhanallah (glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah), and Allahu akbar (Allah is the greatest). And it does not harm you to begin with any of them. Salamah ibn Kuhail disagreed with him."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الْكَلَامِ إِلَى اللهِ أَرْبَعٌ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ بِأَيِّهِنَّ بَدَأْتَ خَالَفَهُ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ  

"إِنَّ الله تعالى اختار لكم مِن الكلام أربَعًا ليس القرآنَ، وهو مِن الْقرآنِ: سبحان الله، والحمد لله، ولا إِله إِلا اللهُ، واللهُ أَكبر".  

"سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلَا إلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، فِى ذنْبِ الْمُسْلِم مِثْلَ الآكلهِ في جَنْب ابنِ آدَمَ".  

"خَيْرُ الكلام أَربعٌ -لا يضرك بأَيِّهن بدأْتَ- سُبحانَ اللَّه، والحمدُ للَّه، ولا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللَّه، واللَّه أَكبر".  

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said "The dearest phrases to Allah are four: Subhan Allah (Hallowed be Allah), Al-Hamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illa-Allah (There is no deity but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greater). "مَنْ قَال: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلا إِلهَ إِلا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا باللهِ، قَال اللهُ: أَسْلَمَ عَبْدِي وَاسْتَسْلَمَ".  

the Prophet ﷺ said: "(There are) four that are the best of words, and it does not matter with which you begin: Subhan-Allah, wal-Hamdu-Lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar (Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great)." "أربعٌ أفْضلُ الكلام، لا يضرُّكَ بأيِّهنَّ بَدَأتَ: سُبحانَ اللهِ، والحمد لله، ولا إِله إلَّا الله، واللهُ أكبر ".  

"تدْرُونَ مَا البَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ؟ سُبحَانَ اللهِ، وَالحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلَا إِله إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أكبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا باللهِ".

(أفضلُ الكلام أربع، لا تبالى بأيِّهِن بدأت: سبحانَ الله، والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله. والله اكبر" .  

"لأَنْ أقُولَ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، والْحَمْدُ للهِ، ولا إِلَهَ إلا اللهُ، واللهُ أَكْبَرُ أَحَبُّ إِليَّ ممَا طَلعَتْ عَلَيهِ الشَّمْسُ".  

"إِنَّ قَوْلَ لَا إِلهَ إِلا اللَّهُ، وسبحان اللَّه، والحمدُ للَّهِ، واللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ يَحْطُطْنَ الخطايا كما يَتحَاتٌ وَرَقُ هَذِهِ الشجَرةِ".  

"إِنَّ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، والحَمدُ للَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ واللَّهُ أكبرُ تَنْفُضُ الخطايا كما تَنْفُضُ الشَّجَرَةُ وَرَقَهَا" .  

"إِنَّ في الجَنَّة قِيعَانًا فأَكثروا غِراسَهَا، قالوا: يا رسولَ: اللَّهِ وما غَرْسُهَا؟ قال: سبحانَ اللَّه، والحمدُ للَّه، ولا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، واللَّه أكبرُ".  

"عَلَيكمْ بِهَذِهِ الْخَمس: سُبْحَان الله، والْحَمَد للهِ، ولا إِلَهَ إلَّا اللهُ، واللهُ أَكْبَرُ، ولا حَوْلَ ولا قُوَّة إلا باللهِ".
