He who said:" There is no god but Allah, He is One and there is no associate with Him, that Muhammad is his servant and His messenger, that Christ is servant and the son of His slave-girl and he (Christ) His word which He communicated to Mary and is His Spirit, that Paradise is a fact and Hell is a fact," Allah would make him (he who affirms these truths enter Paradise through any one of its eight doors which he would like.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَأَنَّ عِيسَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَابْنُ أَمَتِهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُ وَأَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ حَقٌّ وَأَنَّ النَّارَ حَقٌّ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ أَىِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ الثَّمَانِيَةِ شَاءَ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever performs wudu, and performs the wudu well, then says:

ash-hadu an lā ilāha illa Allāh, waḥdahū lā sharīka lahū, wa-ash-hadu anna muḥammadan ʿabduhū wa-rasuluhu; Allāhumma jaʿalnī min al-tawwābīn wa-jaʿalnī min al-mutaṭahhirīn

(I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, who ha no partners, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger; O Allah! Make me among those who constantly repent, and make me among those who thoroughly purify themselves.)

... then eight gates of Paradise are opened for him, that he may enter by whichever of them he wishes.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ قَالَ:

(أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ؛ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ)

فُتِحَتْ لَهُ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أَيِّهَا شَاءَ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever performs Wudu' and does it well, then says: "Ashhadu an la ilaha ill-Allah was ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh (I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is his slave and Messenger)," eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him, and he may enter through whichever one he wishes.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ فُتِّحَتْ لَهُ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أَيِّهَا شَاءَ

"The Messenger of Allah performed ablution washing each part once. He said: 'This is the ablution of the person from whom Allah will not accept his prayer without it.' Then he performed ablution washing each part twice, and he said: 'This is the ablution that Allah appreciates.' Then he performed ablution washing each part three times, and said: 'This is how ablution is performed properly, and this is my ablution and the ablution of the Close Friend of Allah, Ibrahim. Whoever performs ablution like this, then on completing it says: 'Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluhu' (I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammed is His servant and His Messenger), eight gates of Paradise will be opened to him and he may enter through whichever one he wants.'"

تَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَاحِدَةً وَاحِدَةً فَقَالَ هَذَا وُضُوءُ مَنْ لاَ يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ صَلاَةً إِلاَّ بِهِ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ ثِنْتَيْنِ ثِنْتَيْنِ فَقَالَ هَذَا وُضُوءُ الْقَدْرِ مِنَ الْوُضُوءِ وَتَوَضَّأَ ثَلاَثًا ثَلاَثًا وَقَالَ هَذَا أَسْبَغُ الْوُضُوءِ وَهُوَ وُضُوئِي وَوُضُوءُ خَلِيلِ اللَّهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَنْ تَوَضَّأَ هَكَذَا ثُمَّ قَالَ عِنْدَ فَرَاغِهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ فُتِحَ لَهُ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أَيِّهَا شَاءَ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'There is no Muslim who performs ablution and does it well, then says: Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ʿabduhu wa rasuluhu (I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger),' (except that) eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him, and he will enter through whichever one he wants.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ وَأَتَمَّ وُضُوءَهُ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ فُتِحَتْ لَهُ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ دَخَلَ مِنْ أَيِّهَا شَاءَ

"أشهدُ أن لا إِلهَ إِلَّا الله وحْدَهُ لَا شريكَ له، وَأنَّ محمّدًا عبْدُه وَرَسُولُهُ، لا يلْقاهُ بهما أحَدٌ يوْمَ الْقيَامَةِ إِلَّا دَخَلَ الجنَّةَ عَلَى ما كانَ فيهِ".

"مَا مِنْ أَحَد يَتَوَضَّأُ فَيُحْسِنُ الْوضُوءَ، ثمَّ يَقُولُ حِين يَفْرغٌ مِن وُضُوئه: أَشْهَدُ أَن لا إِلَه إِلَا اللهُ، وَحْدَه لَا شَرِيكَ لَه، وَأَن مُحمَّدًا عَبْدُه ورَسُولُه إلا فُتِحَتْ أَبْوابُ الْجَنَّةِ الثمانيةُ لَه يَدْخُلُ من أَيِّها شَاءَ".

"مَا مِنْ عَبدٍ يَقُولُ حِينَ يَتوضَّأُ: بسْم اللهِ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لِكُلِّ عُضْوٍ: أَشْهَدُ أَن لا إِلهَ إِلا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شريك لهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عبْدُهُ وَرسُولُه، ثُم يَقولُ حِينَ يفْرُغُ: اللَّهُمَ اجْعَلنِي مِن التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن الْمُتَطَهِّرينَ، إِلا فُتِحَتْ لَهُ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَاب الْجَنَّةِ، يدْخُلُ من أَيِّهَا شَاءَ، فَإِنْ قامَ مِنْ فَوْرهِ ذَلِك فَصَلَّي رَكْعتَين يقْرأُ فِيهِما، وَيعْلَمُ ما يقُولُ، انْفتَل مِن صَلاتِهِ كَيَوْمَ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّه، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لهُ: اسْتأنِفِ الْعَمَل".

"مَا مِنْكُم مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَيُحْسِنُ الوُضُوءَ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ حِينَ يَفْرَغُ مِنْ وُضُوئِهِ: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إلا الله وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لهُ، وأَن مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ ورَسُولُهُ، إلا فُتِحَتْ لَهُ أَبْوابُ الجَنَّةِ الثَّمَانِيَة، يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أَيهَا شَاءَ".

"مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ، تُمَّ رَفَعَ بَصَرَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ، فَقَال: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إلا اللهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، فُتِحَتْ لَهُ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ يَدْخُلُ مِن أَيِّهَا شَاءَ".

"مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ، ثُمَّ قَال ثَلَاث مَرَّات: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إلا اللهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ فُتِحَ لَهُ مِن الْجَنَّة ثَمَانيَةُ أَبْوَاب مِن أَيِّهَا شَاءَ دَخَلَ".

"مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ، ثُمَّ قَال: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلنِي مِن التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ فُتِحَتْ لَهُ ثَمَانِيةُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ يَدْخُلُ من أيِّهَا شَاءَ".

"مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ ثم قال: أَشْهَدُ أَن لا إِله إِلا الله وَأَنَّ محمدًا عَبْدُه ورسُولُهُ قَبْلَ أَن يَتَكَلَّمَ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَينَ الوضوءَين".

"مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضوءَ، ثُمَّ رفَعَ بَصَرَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ قَال: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إلهَ إلا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وأَشْهَدُ أن مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرسُولُهُ، فُتِحَتْ لَهُ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أَيِّهَا شَاءَ".

"مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ لِلصَّلاةِ وَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ وَرَفَعَ رَأسَهُ إِلَى السَّماءِ فَقَال: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إلا اللهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ فَتَحَ اللهُ ثمانِيَةَ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ، وقيل لَهُ: ادْخُلْ مِن أَيِّ بَابٍ شِئْتَ".

"مَنْ دَعَا بوُضُوءٍ فَسَاعَةَ يَفْرُغُ مِنْ وضُوئِه يَقُولُ: أَشْهَدُ أَن لا إِله إِلا اللهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ الله، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ، وَاجْعَلنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ، فُتِحَتْ لَهُ ثَمَانِيَة أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ، يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أَيِّها شَاءَ".

"عَنْ سالم بن أبى الجعد، عن على قال: إذا توضأ الرجل فليقل: أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله، اللهم اجعلنى من التوابين، واجعلنى من المتطهرين".

"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ وُضُوئِهِ قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، رب اجعلنى من التَّوابين واجعلنِى من المتطهرين".
