1. Book of Purification (8/11)
[Machine] Do I have to make up for the prayers that I missed during my menstruation when I become pure again? Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, asked, "Are you a Hururiyyah?" We used to be with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , one of us would menstruate and then become pure, and he would not order us to make up for the missed prayers.
[Machine] I asked Fatimah, the daughter of Ali, "Do you make up the prayers missed during your menstrual period?" She replied, "No."
[Machine] A woman asked Aisha if a woman during her period has to pray. Aisha replied, "Evidently, the wives of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ menstruated, and he instructed them to make up for it." Abdullah said, which means that they do not have to fulfill the prayer.
1.103 [Machine] Haidh Reminder: Remember Allah ﷻ and do not read the Quran
[Machine] "The menstruating woman and the person in a state of major impurity both remember Allah and utter His name."
[Machine] The translation of the given Arabic sentence into English is: "Neither the person in a state of major impurity (janabah) nor a menstruating woman can recite the Quran word by word (verse by verse)"
[Machine] "Regarding 'Aamir, the sexually impure and menstruating women should not recite the Quran."
[Machine] Four people do not read the Quran: when alone, in the bathroom, while in a state of impurity (junub), and while menstruating (during their period). However, they are allowed to recite verses and the like for those who are junub or menstruating.
[Machine] Ibrahim and Saeed bin Jubair said, "Menstruating women and those in a state of sexual impurity (janaba) recite the verse but do not complete it."
[Machine] "The person in a state of sexual impurity remembers the name of Allah the Almighty."
[Machine] It is said that the one who is sexually impure (junub) or menstruating (hayid) should not recite, and one should not recite in the bathroom. And there are two situations in which a person should not mention Allah: when relieving oneself and during sexual intercourse. However, when a man comes to his family, he should start by saying "Bismillah" (In the name of Allah).
[Machine] Four phrases that can be said by someone in a state of ritual impurity (junub) or menstruation (haidh): "SubhanAllah" (Glory be to Allah), "Alhamdulillah" (All praise is due to Allah), "La ilaha illallah" (There is no deity but Allah), and "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the Greatest).
1.104 [Machine] Chapter: The Menstruating Woman Can Hear the Sujood But Should Not Prostrate
[Machine] Ibrahim and Abu al-Dhuhay said, "Do not prostrate."
[Machine] Ibrahim and Saeed bin Jubair said, "She does not have a greater prayer than that."
[Machine] It is better than the prescribed prayer was prohibited.
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said to the women, "Give in charity, for you are the majority of the inhabitants of Hell." So a woman who was not from the elite women asked, "Why? For what reason or with what?" He said, "Because you frequently curse and are ungrateful to your husbands."
1.105 [Machine] A menstruating woman prays in her garment when she becomes pure.
[Machine] "When a woman becomes pure from her menstrual cycle, she should follow her garment that touches her skin, wash what has come in contact with harm, and then she can pray in it."
One of us would have a shirt in which she would menstruate and in it she became sexually defiled. Then if she ever saw any drop of blood in it, she would rub it off by applying her saliva. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 364)
[Machine] From Umm Salamah, she said, "If one of you starts her menstrual flow with a drop of blood, then when one of you experiences that, let her use a piece of cloth."
[Machine] "If a woman washes off the blood, yet it does not go away, then she should change it with yellow dock root or saffron."
[Machine] "Does a woman have blood on her garment, so should I wash it and not cut it?" She said, "Water is purifying."
"I heard Aisha (ra) say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abii Al-Qbim, and I were beneath a single blanket, and I was menstruating. If something got on him from me, he would wash whatever had got on him and he did not wash anywhere else, and he prayed in it then came back to me.And if anything got on him from me,he would do exactly the same and he did not wash anywhere else."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 773)
[Machine] About Ibrahim, he said: "If a woman wears clothing while she is menstruating, and blood touches it, she should wash it. Otherwise, it is not necessary for her to wash it. And if she sweats in it, it is permissible for her to sprinkle water on it."
[Machine] The menstruating woman prays in the same clothes she menstruates in, except if any blood specifically touches the clothes, then she washes the spot where the blood is.
[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about menstrual blood that stains clothes. He said, "Scrape it off and then rinse it with water."
[Machine] "The menstruating woman does not wash her garment if there is no blood on it."
[Machine] I heard a woman asking the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about her garment after becoming clean from her menstrual cycle, asking what should she do with it. He said, "If you see any blood on it, then scrub it, then purify it with water, and then pour water over the rest of it. Then pray in it."
I asked the Prophet ﷺ about the blood of menstruation on the clothe. He said: Erase it off with a piece of wood and then wash it away with water and the leaves of the lote-tree. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 363)
[Machine] The woman said, "Does her menstrual blood stain her dress?" She said, "Wash it with water." She said, "But won't its trace remain?" She said, "Indeed, water is purifying."
[Machine] Aisha used to see blood from menstruation on her garment, so she would open it with a stone or a stick or a horn, and then wash it.
1.106 [Machine] In the region of the south and during menstruation
[Machine] "From semen, sweat can appear on a garment, then he wipes it with it, and he said, 'There is no harm in it.'"
[Machine] "It was seen that there is no hardship in having sweat stains on the clothes."
[Machine] Not all of the Prophet's companions ﷺ used to find two garments and he said, "If you take a bath, don't you have something to wear? So, this is for that."
[Machine] About the man who harms the woman and then wears the garment, and sweats in it, and she does not see any harm in it.
[Machine] "To pray in the clothes that have semen or menstrual blood stains."
[Machine] Concerning Ibrahim in the desert, he was sweating in his garment and said, "Neither does it harm him, nor does it wet him with water."
[Machine] About Ibrahim, regarding menstruation, if she stains her clothes with sweat, then it is permissible for her to sprinkle water on it.
[Machine] Regarding Ibn Umar, he used to sweat while being in a state of janabah (major impurity), and then he would pray in the same clothing.
[Machine] He "did not see harm in the bleeding woman or the impure person."
1.107 [Machine] The onset of menstruation
[Machine] A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "What is permissible for me to do with my wife while she is menstruating?" He replied, "Cover her with a cloth and do whatever you would normally do with her except for intercourse."
[Machine] "To tighten her belt around her waist and then to engage with her."
[Machine] "The husband approaches his wife during her menstruation between her thighs. When he ejaculates, she washes off what has touched her, and he cleans himself."
[Machine] Ibrahim said, "Indeed, the mother of Imran knows that I intended to pierce her womb while she was menstruating."
